Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe location is great, the metro station is 4 mins away and from there is easy to move around the city. You have a supermarket nearby and some places to eat.

IndiaNo toiletries were provided in the room, but was available at the front desk. I guess due to the zero waste policy.
Location was perfect, 1 min to the subway, very close to bars and restaurants. The room was extremely spacious for Manhattan standards. Very comfortable. Not noisy, did not hear the neighbors as others had claimed. Very helpful front desk and staff. Good coffee service at the lobby each morning.

BrazilThe only downside was the shower handle, which wasn’t very intuitive to use. It took me a moment to figure it out, but it wasn’t a major issue in the grand scheme of things.
I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan SoHo Village and had a great experience overall. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made my stay even more comfortable. The bed was super comfy, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite being in such a lively part of the city. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Red Subway Line, making it incredibly convenient to get around Manhattan. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby, catering to different tastes and budgets. Plus, having a Trader Joe’s close by was a huge bonus for grabbing snacks or quick meals. The check-in staff were very helpful and friendly, making the process smooth and welcoming. The lower level amenities were also a nice touch, with a vending machine, microwave, and a well-equipped gym available for guests.

United StatesNot a whole lot of space to put stuff, but we were only there for the one night, so it wasn't a difficulty.
Room was very clean, bathroom very nice (not that big a fan of the type of faucet over the sink, but not a problem). Temperature was great - not too warm. Pillows were squishy enough for me! Bed very comfortable. Quiet - and glad you put the family's rooms close to each other Thanks for helping our Afghan friends (family of 7, in NYC for their asylum hearing) feel comfortable and accommodated when it came time to store a bunch of belongs after checkout while they were in the hearing for 7+ hours! BelgiumThe doors don’t offer the best sound isolation, earplugs might be useful for some. Housekeeping starts quite early but if you just place the dnd sign they happily clean your room later on.
Great location, close to metro,SoHo and Westvillage. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Room was fine, nothing spectacular but that’s fine given the little time we spend in it.

Location was perfect. The neighborhood is delightful and the hotel is close to the subway. Room was clean and adequate. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we were out exploring NYC. Hotel staff was pleasant and cheerful. We appreciated the bag check for our last day in the city.

United StatesSome parts of the hotel/room could have been a bit cleaner (shower, rug) but it didn’t feel unclean or unsafe.
The location and access to the building was wonderful. Distance to the holland tunnel was exceptional and all staff were kind and helpful. The price was fair for the holiday season. Access to the subway and surrounding area was great!

AustraliaThe street was somewhat noisy outside but it was certainly tolerable and very standard for Manhattan. Overall very happy with experience and stay.
The staff were very friendly and helpful upon check in making it a very smooth process. The room was very nice and having stayed at other places in New York City it was good value for money. Facilities were very good and the location was great - really enjoyed exploring and running along the Hudson River side of Manhattan which was nice and close.

ThailandA room is a bit gloomy, well it's not that new but still can accommodate my 10-day stay. I was there during November, so there was no fridge in my room (I kinda hope they would provide one). Room cleaning is unpredictable. I got kicked out of the room during room cleaning (They might need privacy for doing their job).
The location is pretty good. Nearby to everything you need. Not far from supermarkets, deli, restaurants, and shops. Within 10-minute walk, it will bring you anywhere. And I personally love the neighborhood, full of nice cafes and shops. Bathroom is clean which is a plus.
