Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Nicoletta
United StatesThe room was extremely small and dark (with just two weak, small lamps); breakfast was poor (we had to wait 15 minutes to get some milk, there was no way to heat bread) and we had to wait outside the entrance for 15 minutes before being admitted in the breakfast room. Eventually, we went to a different place to have a decent breakfast. There is no information about WiFi either in the room or in the hallway, and if you go on your settings you’ll only see a Marriot insecure link available, while this hotel is a Sheraton. Basically, you’ll have to guess and trust anything you find. Service: we went down to first floor for breakfast and came back to find our room already done, with towels changed and ready for the next customers, while we hadn’t had checked out yet—and still had 3 hours before we should. This very poor facility and service costed $430 for only one night. I found this outrageous. Also, we paid $85 for valet parking and had to communicate the time we would need our car back 1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES IN ADVANCE.

United StatesMy hotel room wasn't ready when we arrived. I was informed that I would receive a text and we never received a text or any communication our room was ready. The pillows on the bed were filthy. The shower had a stain unremovable stain.
tI liked the hotel required you to have a room key to use the elevator. This protocol made me feel safe.

LuxembourgThe window of our room was partially blinded, behind was a backyard with large fans and other stuff (see picture). Around 9 pm a compressor was starting, producing annoying low frequency sound and vibration. The breakfast room is by far too small for the number of guests, so the situation there in the morning was often chaotic.
The hotel is located relatively close to the Penn Station.

United StatesWe were upgraded to a room with a view. Small room sizes are the norm for NYC, so we were pleasantly surprised that our room was bigger than expected. The breakfast exceeded our expectations - offered hot options, and cold options, and pastries, fruit etc - essentially accommodated all trends - continental, full, even european.

United StatesStaff and location . I felt compelled to thank them many times! They went above and beyond making us comfortable and welcome from the moment we walked in the door, through our birthday celebration. The manager gifted my son a bday cake and we left being ever so grateful we chose this hotel!!

United StatesThe rooms are small boxes for one to store luggage, shower, & sleep. There is no luxury. The hotel is stubbornly 2 Star. You ALMOST get what you pay for. If your goal is NOT to escape from the world into a luxury room but rather to escape FROM your room into the world, then this is the place for you!
The members of the staff were great. The location near Times Sq. and all of the trains that converge at the Times Sq. subway station really helps one get almost anywhere in the City fairly easily.
