Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyI already stayed in the hotel for one night what was fine. I booked another night for some days later but had to cancel that because of a private emergency. There was exactly no response or reaction and they charged me the full price. Bad service. Never again.

SingaporeRoom is really small and the shower doesn't contain the water properly. Hence there was pooling of water outside the shower. Bed is too soft and pillow just becomes flat after resting your head on it.

United KingdomRoom was tiny with a view of the next building so I can look into people's offices. On the 7th floor, the skyscraper next to you means you get very little natural light anyways. And there was only one bedside and a desk lamp working - no proper lighting in the room. Couldn't see inside the wardrobe and I had to stretch the desk lamp.

United StatesHallways were super small. Not an issue, just the only thing I could think of.
Clean, decent price. Bed was comfy. Nice view from room. Amazing bakery a block over. On the fringes of Times Square but still able to walk everywhere.

United Statesthe room didn't have cold water. it was either hot or scalding. I complained once and got nothing. complained a second time and got a resolution that only lasted about 12 hours, then back to the hot water again.
the hotel is in a good location, near theatres and public transportation within 3-4 blocks.

United KingdomThe only thing I didn’t like was the price, however this is no more expensive than anywhere else in Manhattan so is a nothing complaint really.
I solo travelled to New York and had booked Jazz on the Park hostel (AVOID) expecting the same vibe as hostels in Europe. I got there at like 10pm and was disgusted. instantly went on booking.com and found this place. it was expensive but no more expensive than anywhere else and the bed was so comfortable, staff were very helpful and you’re in a great position to explore NYC.

AustraliaUpon check in we were told the 2 double rooms we booked for 5 nights were not available. We were given 4 king rooms instead for the first night and told the double rooms were going to be available from the next day. We had to check out of the king rooms in the morning and check back into the promised double rooms. At check out were told again that those rooms were not available. This caused a major inconvenience for a family with 2 young kids. We were relocated to the Fairfield hotel next door and told it was the same standard however we didn’t find it to be the case. We were promised a 50% refund on the first night. We are still waiting for the refund.

SerbiaThe rooms are spacious and bright, but there is no possibility of darkening. A large window looks directly at the bed. So if you want to sleep tired and the light bothers you, you will have to find a way to cover your eyes. I think that's the important thing. When you are in this business, I think that one of the first things you need to think about, is how the guests will sleep and whether they will be able to rest. This can be solved very easily, by adding dark draperies, which could be pulled over the window. The gym is a small space, very poorly equipped with exercise equipment. In fact, there are no exercise machines other than a few similar cardio training devices. In addition there is a set of weights and that's it.
Location, lovely stuff. Big and comfortable room. Very clean.
