We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United StatesNot having a restaurant/bar on premises was a real drag, the one time we used delivery, the food (pizza from Amici's) was only so-so and had to be microwaved because it arrived barely lukewarm. The shower faucet was also very stiff and difficult to twist for control of the hot/cold temperature mix. However, we soldiered on with wine from Safeway, enjoyed on the deck in sunshine!! Better than a bar, I suppose ;)
At check-in, I asked to be given a room with pool/garden view. The person at the desk (Bethany, I believe) was terrific, giving me a room with a large, wrap-around deck that got nice afternoon sun and a beautiful old tree for ambiance...at no extra charge. The room itself was large and more than comfortable for a single occupant.

United StatesCheckout was irritating 🙄 checking in was a breeze. The two young ladies were very helpful and were very nice and professional. However, checkout was a little bit annoying because I couldn't pay the way I needed to. I was sharing a room with another adult and we wanted to split the bill but they couldn't figure out how to manage this???the daytime staff were a different set of ppl A man and a woman ? We had to put everything on my Credit card and then split things later. We needed the billing to reflect our halves , so that was a bit of an inconvenience but everything else was top-tier. No complaints otherwise...

United StatesWe are in Pleasanton, folks. Not exactly the urban hub of the universe. But for some reason this hotel has decided that it’s a premium destination with a high demand for parking and charge guests $10 a night for parking in their lot! Let’s be clear. There is no other way to get to this hotel. Except by car. There is plenty of parking. It’s surrounded by office buildings with their own parking. No one else would ever park in the lot except guests. So why on earth would we have to pay $10 for parking? It boggles the mind. If the hotel is losing money, increase the cost of the room, but don’t tell me you need me to pay for parking. That’s ridiculous! Even on their own website, it lists the parking fee per stay as zero. Just FYI, the Courtyard nearby also charges $10 for parking. In addition, the night we stayed there some alarm near the ice machine started going off at 5 AM and was not shut off until almost 6:30. So much for a good night’s sleep!
The room was comfortable and spacious. The grounds are pleasant.
