Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesDuring our stay at Aloft Hotel, we encountered a few minor issues that slightly marred our experience. Upon arrival, we discovered that the toilet wasn’t working and the sink wasn’t draining, although the staff promptly sent someone to fix the problem. We also faced some noise disturbances from the busy street outside, which made it difficult to sleep; we had been informed that the mountain view rooms were typically noisier, and had been offered a quieter room at the back. Additionally, the room itself looked a little worn, with a scratched headboard and several areas where the paint could have been retouched.
We were visiting our son at the University of Arizona it was the perfect location—just a short walk from campus. The hotel has a fun, modern vibe with plenty to do right in the lobby. We enjoyed the lobby bar and even played a few games of billiards. The workout facility was well-equipped, and if the weather had been a bit warmer, we would have taken advantage of the pool. The outdoor patio was another highlight, with lots of seating and a great atmosphere for relaxing. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-designed, making for an enjoyable stay. Though we didn’t try the breakfast, it looked like a good option for a quick bite in the morning.

United StatesLocation is very noisy. Street races woke me up a few times over the weekend. Bus stop is right in front of property, so felt unsafe at times. More than a few homeless people sitting on sidewalk near property. I know it was Parents Weekend, but $500 a night for this property was unacceptable. When you pay $500 a night should you expect to listen to heavy traffic noise and walk around homeless people? I don't think so.
Room, beds were great. Like the ease of hotel layout. Bar was nice. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Property was clean.

FranceThe room prices are already quote high and they definitely should stop charging for the parking. I ended up parking on the next street which was unnecessary.
I selected this place for a visit to UofA campus. It was a great decision! Very clean, comfortable and convenient option.

United StatesMy main dislike was that they don't have a guide on the TV. They do have a printed list of channels next to the bed, but no onscreen-guide to show you what is playing on those channels or at what time. I called the front desk and they said their cable service was for Smart TV's only, but they are still in the process of getting new TV's so the guides don't work. Also, the room was small which was fine for me on my own but I think it could be too small if I were traveling with my husband. The closet was especially small with only five hangers, and there were no dresser drawers at all which I thought was unusual. I have to travel to Tucson again at the end of the month on my own for only two nights so I might stay here again. However, if I was staying longer and/or with my husband, it could be a little small. However, I did really like how nice the staff was, the modern decor, and the central location.
The hotel was in a good location; it's very central and was close to my business in town. It's modern and clean and my king room was small, but very comfortable. There was plenty of space in the bathroom for fixing hair and putting on makeup. It had very nice views from the large windows. My room was facing south and there were distant mountain views and a row of charming Spanish bungalows in the historic Sam Hughes neighborhood out the window. It felt like I was in Tucson. The staff was very friendly and was always smiling and helpful. In the lobby, they had a selection of pre-made food and snacks, and there's also a bagel shop in short walking distance around the corner. I didn't drink on this trip but they do have a bar downstairs. It was also the first hotel I've ever stayed in Tucson with covered parking so that was a plus (extra $10/day for parking). They also have a pool which looked nice but I didn't utilize. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would stay here again.
