During our stay at Aloft Hotel, we encountered a few minor issues that slightly marred our experience. Upon arrival, we discovered that the toilet wasn’t working and the sink wasn’t draining, although the staff promptly sent someone to fix the problem. We also faced some noise disturbances from the busy street outside, which made it difficult to sleep; we had been informed that the mountain view rooms were typically noisier, and had been offered a quieter room at the back. Additionally, the room itself looked a little worn, with a scratched headboard and several areas where the paint could have been retouched.

We were visiting our son at the University of Arizona it was the perfect location—just a short walk from campus. The hotel has a fun, modern vibe with plenty to do right in the lobby. We enjoyed the lobby bar and even played a few games of billiards. The workout facility was well-equipped, and if the weather had been a bit warmer, we would have taken advantage of the pool. The outdoor patio was another highlight, with lots of seating and a great atmosphere for relaxing. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-designed, making for an enjoyable stay. Though we didn’t try the breakfast, it looked like a good option for a quick bite in the morning.

Having a truck, difficulty parking in garage. Only thing we didn't like.

Great coffee. Did not eat breakfast. Location was great for us. UofA close by where we attended band day to watch POA. Reasonable rates. Friendly staff. We are 81 & 82 years of age. Easy to get around.

Location is very noisy. Street races woke me up a few times over the weekend. Bus stop is right in front of property, so felt unsafe at times. More than a few homeless people sitting on sidewalk near property. I know it was Parents Weekend, but $500 a night for this property was unacceptable. When you pay $500 a night should you expect to listen to heavy traffic noise and walk around homeless people? I don't think so.

Room, beds were great. Like the ease of hotel layout. Bar was nice. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Property was clean.

Location was a bit further than where we usually stay. 15 minute walk to University Ave and downtown 4st area but Uber was only $6-8. $20ish the the airport. Will definitely stay here again

Hotel staff was great, room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The light switches are connected - can’t use the bathroom light without turning on the lights in the bedroom area! Breakfast is not available before 7am on weekends - we had to leave before that time for an appointment.

Cool property. Lots to do and a good crowd of people hanging out in the lobby.

The room prices are already quote high and they definitely should stop charging for the parking. I ended up parking on the next street which was unnecessary.

I selected this place for a visit to UofA campus. It was a great decision! Very clean, comfortable and convenient option.

The curved drive way down/up the parking basement is difficult to drive. At daytime, enter the parking basement is tough since it is very bright outside and dark inside.

My main dislike was that they don't have a guide on the TV. They do have a printed list of channels next to the bed, but no onscreen-guide to show you what is playing on those channels or at what time. I called the front desk and they said their cable service was for Smart TV's only, but they are still in the process of getting new TV's so the guides don't work. Also, the room was small which was fine for me on my own but I think it could be too small if I were traveling with my husband. The closet was especially small with only five hangers, and there were no dresser drawers at all which I thought was unusual. I have to travel to Tucson again at the end of the month on my own for only two nights so I might stay here again. However, if I was staying longer and/or with my husband, it could be a little small. However, I did really like how nice the staff was, the modern decor, and the central location.

The hotel was in a good location; it's very central and was close to my business in town. It's modern and clean and my king room was small, but very comfortable. There was plenty of space in the bathroom for fixing hair and putting on makeup. It had very nice views from the large windows. My room was facing south and there were distant mountain views and a row of charming Spanish bungalows in the historic Sam Hughes neighborhood out the window. It felt like I was in Tucson. The staff was very friendly and was always smiling and helpful. In the lobby, they had a selection of pre-made food and snacks, and there's also a bagel shop in short walking distance around the corner. I didn't drink on this trip but they do have a bar downstairs. It was also the first hotel I've ever stayed in Tucson with covered parking so that was a plus (extra $10/day for parking). They also have a pool which looked nice but I didn't utilize. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would stay here again.
