If I absolutely had to point out one thing, it would be that I could hear the street even with the windows closed. You get used to it, especially since it’s not too noisy after around 10pm

The place had a ton of charisma, was in a perfect location (close to the convention center where I had a work event), was clean, comfortable, everything! The food and drink options were excellent as well - you must check out Allegory, the cocktail bar in the hotel - it’s world-class.

I LOVED EVERYTHING! The speakeasy and the art, the social consciousness. I think my favorite was having a record player in my room and a lots of records to chose from. For the first time, I actually wanted to go hang out in my room, and the bar. Seriously incredible. Plus perfect location for convention center. Thank you

The only thing I would say I didn't like is how cold the hallways are on each of the floors. Other than that there wasn't much that I didn't like.

This hotel is everything and more! From the moment I walked in, it felt like such a vibe and super-inclusive - from the artwork, bathrooms, movie screenings, and music selections. The rooms give you a homey vintage vibe with a splash of modern touches. I also appreciated the coworking and outdoor seating for times that I needed to get some work done. There was a Halloween party at the rooftop bar lounge that wasn't really my vibe (it was definitely more club-like) but if that's your thing, you will enjoy it. There was also a speakeasy which was more chill and laid back. In the library area, there was a DJ that also played really good music. They do have restaurants on-site. I didn't eat much at either place, but I did enjoy the few food items I did select and the outdoor seating. One thing to note about the restaurants, is I feel like the food menu is limited. Other than that I really didn't have to leave the hotel unless I just wanted to explore the area. The location is decent depending on what part of town, you are trying to get too. I took the scooters or rode a bike to most places that weren't within walking distance. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to DC.

Hip, boutique hotel on tree lined street in downtown area. Nice coffe shop and bar on site. Nice we-work style "workshop" area on site too. Slow to get our room ready (one hour late) but held our bags for free at early check in and also after we checked out until our flight. Safe friendly area right beside franklin park. Short walk to blue line metro. In room fridge (had to figure out how to plug it in), retro record player in room too, nice shower and sink area. DJ in hotel lobby. Fun, i'ddo it again!

Room was much smaller than on website. It was described as having floor to ceiling windows, which influenced my booking as I like bright rooms . The window was very small and partly covered by an internal wall - although was floor to ceiling. View outside was of the the air conditioning system . Bed was pushed up against the wall, so difficult for 2 people sharing ( my husband had to go by the wall !)

Staff very helpful and friendly . Excellent location . Hotel has an inclusive feel and decorated in an unique , quirky style. Bars both good.

The restaurant and bars were always busy with external events Rooftop Bar booked for events during the warmer days - so never got to visit.

After a shower, it's impossible to get ready in the bathroom. The fan doesn't work strong enough to clear out the humidity, and there is no way to crack the bathroom door. Using the bedroom mirror was the only option. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room, so I needed to go to the lobby each morning. I prefer my coffee first thing in the morning.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Loved that you had umbrella loaners and were willing to store my luggage on the day of departure. The design of the hotel is beautiful, and I appreciated the USB wall chargers.
