Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesOur suite, despite being very spacious and having a view, did have carpet which was well loved. It needs to be replaced and the couch on the porch/sun room could be replaced as well. It has seen better days. It had stains and appeared dirty. In the bathroom, there was blue painters tape holding tile pieces in place, and could use a new hairdryer.
We liked the location of The Fort Harrison State Park Inn. It sits at the entrance to the state park and is 23 minutes from the Children's Museum and the Zoo. After busy days visiting the city, it was nice to come back to a quiet place. The rooms are spacious and ours ( King Suite) had a porch or sitting room with an additional TV and a lot of windows to look at the woods. There was plenty of space. The Inn does provide a breakfast which includes a waffle making station, cereal, coffee, pastries, and during our visit they had sausage gravy over biscuits, and eggs. There is also an ice cream place 3 minutes away- Moo and Lou's which is awesome! We also loved the history of this Inn and overall we would stay again despite some cosmetic items that I'll address below.

United StatesThere was a wall between the bedroom and the tv, so you couldn't lay in bed and watch TV at the same time. The full-size mirror in the bathroom was broken and leaning on the wall. When we tried to adjust it, we learned that it was broken and propped up on the wall.
This place is beautiful. We had the queen bedroom suite. The room was amazing. Loved the walk-in shower and the jacuzzi tub in the room. The queen bed was huge and very soft. The breakfast was really good, lots of different options to choose from

United StatesSee above, and the guests should have been made aware of water main break. I didn’t find out I should be ingesting the water until the day after the break.
The breakfast was ok, nothing special. Fresh fruit would have been nice, and the pastries were obviously old. One day all the hot water was gone. And a different day there was no water at all due to a water main break. Probably a good idea to keep some containers of water on hand for guests. The best things about the inn are the location and the nature of the facility.

United StatesThe lighting is too low in the room. The hair dryer isn't that good. Bring your own.
Love the remote and historical location. The charm of the inm with mirrors all over the building. Historical aspects like the copper drain spouts. The bed was the most comfortable, and each bed had 5 pillows. The hotel uses regular ceramic coffee cups at breakfast. There are rocking chairs on the porch.

CanadaBreakfast refills took a long time. Receptionist helped in refilling milk jug when I asked. He was really nice.
Stayed with 3 kids for 2 nights. Clean room and bathroom. Had a good time. Breakfast was also decent. Comfortable beds. And I had to say the towels they have were the best quality. Pillows were nice too. Booking.com had no photos of the room. It had microwave and fridge as well. Room big too. We as a family travel frequently and were surprised to a see such a good room in low price
