A lovely place to stay. The room was great. Very spacious. The only drawback we had was the bed was a bit soft.

Fort Harrison State Park- nice stay

Our suite, despite being very spacious and having a view, did have carpet which was well loved. It needs to be replaced and the couch on the porch/sun room could be replaced as well. It has seen better days. It had stains and appeared dirty. In the bathroom, there was blue painters tape holding tile pieces in place, and could use a new hairdryer.

We liked the location of The Fort Harrison State Park Inn. It sits at the entrance to the state park and is 23 minutes from the Children's Museum and the Zoo. After busy days visiting the city, it was nice to come back to a quiet place. The rooms are spacious and ours ( King Suite) had a porch or sitting room with an additional TV and a lot of windows to look at the woods. There was plenty of space. The Inn does provide a breakfast which includes a waffle making station, cereal, coffee, pastries, and during our visit they had sausage gravy over biscuits, and eggs. There is also an ice cream place 3 minutes away- Moo and Lou's which is awesome! We also loved the history of this Inn and overall we would stay again despite some cosmetic items that I'll address below.

There was a wall between the bedroom and the tv, so you couldn't lay in bed and watch TV at the same time. The full-size mirror in the bathroom was broken and leaning on the wall. When we tried to adjust it, we learned that it was broken and propped up on the wall.

This place is beautiful. We had the queen bedroom suite. The room was amazing. Loved the walk-in shower and the jacuzzi tub in the room. The queen bed was huge and very soft. The breakfast was really good, lots of different options to choose from

The bathroom mirror is made for really tall people.

Gorgeous setting - loved having a tub for a bubble bath - plenty of hot water.

See above, and the guests should have been made aware of water main break. I didn’t find out I should be ingesting the water until the day after the break.

The breakfast was ok, nothing special. Fresh fruit would have been nice, and the pastries were obviously old. One day all the hot water was gone. And a different day there was no water at all due to a water main break. Probably a good idea to keep some containers of water on hand for guests. The best things about the inn are the location and the nature of the facility.

The property was beautiful. Even in the winter. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in spring and summer. The building was comfortable and very clean.

The lighting is too low in the room. The hair dryer isn't that good. Bring your own.

Love the remote and historical location. The charm of the inm with mirrors all over the building. Historical aspects like the copper drain spouts. The bed was the most comfortable, and each bed had 5 pillows. The hotel uses regular ceramic coffee cups at breakfast. There are rocking chairs on the porch.

Breakfast refills took a long time. Receptionist helped in refilling milk jug when I asked. He was really nice.

Stayed with 3 kids for 2 nights. Clean room and bathroom. Had a good time. Breakfast was also decent. Comfortable beds. And I had to say the towels they have were the best quality. Pillows were nice too. Booking.com had no photos of the room. It had microwave and fridge as well. Room big too. We as a family travel frequently and were surprised to a see such a good room in low price

It was a lovely stay during a winter storm. I like to seek out the unique and not stay at commercial hotels. This was affordable as an off highway motel, but with so much more character.

We love the historical significance of the establishment itself and that it’s funded by the state making the parks of IN shine as a result! The architecture and unique beauty made for interesting walks about the area. As for the room, the jacuzzi was bliss!
