The breakfast foods tasted a bit artificial.

We were last minute searching for a hotel and Gateway Hotel caught my attention. I went ahead and booked online, and the process was very quick and easy. When we got there, it was a bit hard to find a good parking spot because the lot is a little small. However, that wasn’t a big deal. It was a very convenient location because my husband planned to fish right down the street. Upon checking in, the gentleman at the desk was very friendly and polite! He offered us a pull out bed at no charge, which I thought was so neat! We got our key cards and went to our room. It was very nice and clean, just a little smaller than what I had expected. The next morning, we got to witness such a gorgeous and breathtaking view of the sunrise! It was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was fine, I felt everything tasted a bit artificial, but it wasn’t terrible. Overall, my party and I enjoyed our stay. Gateway Hotel took great care of us and we will be back for sure! 😎

VERY thin walls, ceilings and floors. could clearly hear guests in adjoining rooms and was driven crazy one night by the guest in the room above us stomping around for several hours.

Breakfast was full of junk food. Cold muffins. Extra sugary waffles. Mostly the usual continental breakfast. Rooms were not noise proof. There was a huge party downstairs in a gathering hall that went on till 10pm. It kept our kid awake.

Super nice hotel. Definitely the one to stay at when in Seward! We wanted to stay a second night but it wasn’t available. This is the place to stay.

The walls were pretty thin so you could hear everyone around you while in the room. They did have quiet hours from 10pm to 8am which was nice. The shower stall was also fairly small and the shower head was pretty low which made it awkward for a taller person to shower.

Hotel offered a decent selection for breakfast and the location was amazing. The whole town is about 2 miles long and this hotel is right in the middle which made it convenient to walk to places.

I liked the location, new spacious facilities, very clean. Close to restaurants, marina, free schuttle stop. They had transportation from Cruise Dock to hotel, and from hotel to Train Depot.

The family suite was perfect for grandparents traveling with “kids” and grandkids. Laundry facilities right down the hall were handy to dry out clothing several times during our short but rainy stay. Transportation was ample but we could walk to most destinations. Breakfast served our needs perfectly. Desk clerk was helpful. Appreciated the motel storing our luggage so we could explore Seward before check in.

One person at the front desk was knowledgeable the other person was clueless. If you wanted service/information you had to wait for the person who knew what they were doing. It might have been a training situation.

It was conveniently located, new, clean and had laundry facilities.

it was over priced, but they get you because there are very few options.

Seward is small, so the Hotel is right in town. It's just a few minutes walk to the shore. The hotel seems new, it's spacious and very clean. A bit over priced in my opinion. The price includes a standard continental breakfast.

Great place to transition if you’re passing through Seward. Large rooms and very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Shuttle to the cruise terminal also was very helpful.
