Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe staff in the hotel side need a class in customer service! From the time we drove up valet, bell to the Check In, they were rude unfriendly & accommodating. They saw I was walking with a cane and they placed us in a room at the farthest from the elevator. Not to mention the ice maker didn’t work on out floor and the walls are so thin you can hear conversations from outside and it felt like little tremors when people walked around their rooms.
Claim Jumper is one of the best restaurants in Laughlin. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.

United StatesOld and tired building. Charged a resort fee when nothing was working. No pool (down for “cleaning” for months, internet not covered in my room). Asked what resort fee was for and they said the pool and WiFi. Absolute joke. No good quality breakfast options. No coffee with milk options. Location is nice on the river but nothing else other than Casino resorts around. Nothing else in the area.
Had two good restaurants on site

United StatesWe had no dislikes. As above, this is where we will stay in Laughlin for future visits.
We stayed at the Golden Nugget to attend a concert. We had a great trip and the facility and staff were great. We will use this Hotel as our go to place when we go to Laughlin, in the future.

United StatesThe room had two extremely uncomfortable beds. There were two steel bars coming out of the base of one of the beds. It was very apparent the bed was broken. I’m not sure why it hasn’t been reported to management and the bed be replaced. Instead they continue to rent the room out to paying customers and aren’t concerned about there comfort. Unfortunately the rooms had a heavy odor of smoke.
It was on the river.

United StatesThey need to update the hotel. Stay was okay but I wouldn’t stay in the Laughlin hotels since they look old and run down. We checked into our first room but went to the front to get a different room because the bed was wet and had brown stains. The staff were nice to switch into a better room but again, they need to be updated.
Staff was very nice and helpful.

United StatesWeve been staying there for the past 10 yrs. I didn't like the fact that there was construction going on in the hallways. It was busy with plastic all thru the hallways, floor and walls. The pool was dirty. And someone added chemicals while we were in the pool. the cushions were dirty as well. We ordered drinks and food since you don't have a bar or waiter outside and it was never served. I felt like we should have been notified about the construction. I would not have stayed there. VERY DISAPPOINTED! DON'T THINK I WILL BE STAYING THERE AGAIN.
The fact that the hotel only has 4 levels

United StatesEverything was fine except the tub did not drain when I took a shower (maybe I missed something). Only took 1 shower so it was not an issue. Also (no fault of the hotel) the upstairs were having a dance party or running contest quite late in the night. Very noisy :(

United StatesFinding strangers inside the room. I merged the room with the reservation since unknown if my brother would arrive on Friday. I was told in order to keep the same room to go back on Saturday to recheck in and activate the card, which I did. Once my brother arrived on Saturday he and his wife went into the room and found other people. One lady rushed out and screamed out “There here checking in let's go” As she rushed out of the room, a guy came out of the restroom stating this is my room. We decided to go to customer service to see what was going on. Customer service called security to find out why. These people were inside the room with no reservation. The reservation was under my name. Customer service found another room for my brother. This was not a good experience finding strangers in the room. I wonder how did these people get access to the room, I know no one inside on Friday since my brother could not arrive on Friday and instead he arrive on Saturday to find strangers.

United StatesA/c for the rooms didn’t work. Talked to front desk they sent maintenance and told us to wait a hour for room to cool and didn’t cool down. Then, when called again they said they couldn’t help us at that time because the person at the front said she was alone.
Claim jumper was great to have at the hotel.
