Last time we stayed we had one with an updated bathroom the shower was new and gorgeous this time we had an older room so the shower was very small and outdated.

It showed a gorgeous view of the lake and the sunrise was stunning.

There were no hooks or a smaller dresser to unpack your clothes and the closet had only two hangers. There was also not enough lighting.

Convenient location with a short drive to town. Moderately priced offering the essentials for overnight stays. There is no fluff here, there is a refrigerator to bring your own food etc.

Finding the entry driveway was a bit tricky, at first, as we arrived on the opposite side of the road.

Small, quiet motel near Watkins Glen with a beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed watching the sun come up over the lake in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable- no frills, but included everything you might need. Owner was helpful and accessible.

The bed was too hard for my preference, so it was uncomfortable for me. The shower was very small, which I found a bit challenging. The room could use some artwork on the walls, they are currently bare. It's in Watkins Glenn, so I think some pictures of the scenery in the state park would really add to the room. The bathroom could also use a towel bar. There was nowhere to hang our towels to dry.

Loved the location and the view. We even got to see a double rainbow while staying there. The room was updated and clean.

“Snacks” mentioned to be in rooms on web sight in lieu of breakfast were non existent. The only minor gig from the experience. No big deal but noticed by guests as a running joke.

The entrance to the motel needs some signage in the area alerting to the driveway entrance, as the motel is on a divided highway, so if you miss it you need to go down the highway and back up and make a u turn to access the driveway.

The view was beautiful, right above Seneca lake. The room was very clean, updated fairly recently.

The name speaks for itself, the view was gorgeous. We went off season so a lot of things weren’t open and no staff on property. But the lady was very nice when we arrived and answered the phone anytime we called. Would stay again.

Driveway needs help. While room had been remodeled, and bed was fine, the other furniture in the room was quite dated.

the driveway entrance needs to be improved. has potholes. sign for motel can be easily missed. the outside could use improvement. that is why many travelers could be turned off and not stay here.

The room was immaculately clean, except for the mildew on the shower tile grout. That was surprising given how clean the room was. And considering how narrow/tight the shower stall was, it was top of mind for me to keep from touching the walls. The room itself was lacking in charm, but that was fairly and accurately depicted in the Trip Advisor photo, I just didn't notice. A missed opportunity since the property itself had some real vintage cottage potential. It was not walkable to town - we did have to drive down the hill. The bed frame was the newer sheet metal platform type that we have seen in other hotels. Unfortunately, it occasionally emitted a gong-type tone which made us laugh. Not annoying, just a humorous memory of our time in Watkins Glen. I submitted a pic of that. lol.

The views of the lake from the chairs placed outside the room were spectacular. It appeared there was only one other room occupied at the end of this one story 6-or-so room structure, so it was very quiet. I left a valuable personal article in the room - a first ever for us - and the Office Manager called us a few hours after check-out to notify us. We were able to backtrack to get it. I certainly appreciate their honesty!

No physical staff. Although the room is already program for entry(cardless), it is still nice to have someone greet you before you check in.
