Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNot enough common space for guests to enjoy. If you weren’t in the restaurant you didn’t have a place to sit and relax outside your room.
The updated rooms, properly sized bathrooms, location, and how quiet it is to sleep.

United StatesI thought the facility was very nice, I loved the location, very close to a lot of different places. The tv was okay-chrome cast did not work and some of the channels offered showed a black screen. Staff was very accommodating and friendly, called ahead because we got to the city 45 minutes earlier than expected and we were able to check in 40 Minutes early.

BrazilShould not have booked the breakfast option. Buffet is good but there are plenty of interesting breakfast options around.
Rooms are not large. But well appointed, renewed, clean and well located in midtown. Rooftop bar is charming.

United StatesThe front desk staff was AMAZING. Much to my enjoyment, I was able to check into my room early. Not only that, but they had remembered that I had requested a quieter room. When I had to ring them for a few requests, the front desk was attentive, kind, and professional. The room was cozy and about the size you'd expect for NYC and this location. Cons: Firstly, I must acknowledge one of the housekeeping staff who delivered the extra towels we requested. When we realized that the set was missing face clothes, he returned a short time later with two and a smile. Now, on Sunday, when we returned to our room, we were disappointed. Housekeeping failed to collect two of our dirty towels. They didn't replace our drinking water classes with clean ones. Furthermore, they didn't whip down our desk space either. Thankfully, the trash had been emptied, and the bed had been made.

BrazilThe parking. When I booked I saw that there was parking, but different from other hotels, the price was not listed in the details, so I assume that was included, which was not. We pay $60 a day, to park our car.
The cleaning, the hotel facilities, and the location, which is walk distance to main attractions in NY and to subway as well.

United StatesWould have been nice to have coffee available in the morning. They did provide an infused water starting about mid morning. The shower “window” is weird for a family sized room even though there are blinds - assume it’s to make the room feel bigger, although felt like it was a nice size room for NYC.
Staff was very helpful. Was fairly quiet considering how close it is to everything. The location was wonderful! Easy to walk everywhere or to jump on subway.

BrazilThe room could have more closet space and have a better layout. It wasn't bad though, but I have stayed in hotel room that were smaller and I could fit more things there. For a 1 person per room business trip is perfect, for 2 people it gets a little cramped up (not too much where it is an issue though), but it's the only reason I didn't give it a 10.
The hotel is great, the staff is very polite and well trained, rooms were clean, the hotel restaurant is good and they have an amazing rooftopbar with a view to the Empire State building. Additionally, I believe this to be the best location in Manhattan to stay, not too close to Times Square that it is to touristy, but close enough to do most things walking distance.

CanadaI was disappointed that there were no menus in the room for room service. I ordered from the online menu, but the prices were incorrect, and it didn't mention the $5 delivery fee or the fact that they add the gratuity onto the bill. I ordered coffee the first morning and paid $15, not knowing there was complimentary coffee available. If you don't provide a coffee machine or small fridge, please offer information about available services (like complimentary coffee etc).
The location of the hotel was perfect as it was in walking distance of all the places I wanted to visit. The staff was very attentive and kind; they kindly upgraded my room to a city view. The room was clean and cute, and the coffee and food were delicious.
