No restaurant or bar at hotel…closed due to no staff. The staff at check in were unfriendly, made you feel Like you bothered her when you asked a simple question.

The room was spacious and clean with access to the Stowe Recreation path. It was a lovely walk into town. We were also within walking distance of several restaurants in either direction. Lots of walking trails within a short drive made this a great location for us.

The location is out of the 'main' strip of Stowe so walking to restaurants is out making having a car a must. The sofa bed couch is a bit flimsy in construction but otherwise the room was excellent.

Our king suite with fireplace was well equipped and spotless. The electric fireplace put out enough heat to keep the room comfortable. The shower held its pressure and temperature. Plenty of room in both the bedroom and the sitting room. Each room had a large enough TV.

Would have been nice to have coffee available in the morning. Fitness equipment needs updating.

Very clean, nice property/outdoor space. Pool and hot tub area were great. Enjoyed having access to a washer and dryer.

The size of the room and the attention to detail in every part. We stayed for two nights and I wish we could have been there longer. It was far lovelier than I thought it would be.

I thought this hotel was overpriced for what it was, on a weekday, but found that to be the case for the majority of the properties available in this area. Only one key card was offered at checkin, which I thought was odd, but wasn’t the end of the world. We did have some small flying insects in our room & in the shower. Our unit was on the lower level of the second building & the stairs were a little steep when carrying luggage (no elevator noticed). We could hear every footstep of the people in the room above us. The indoor pool was closed as the heater wasn’t working. I thought there was a missed opportunity for a firepit on the patio. A S’mores happy hour or kit would have been fun!

The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was clean. The location was convenient and plenty of parking was available. A microwave, fridge & coffee maker were available. We only interacted with the one staff member at checkin, but she was friendly and welcoming. Appreciated the boot tray for wet shoes/umbrellas. Shower pressure was good.

So happy with our recent stay at Grey Fox Inn. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating, and the location was fantastic and easy to find. I’m a stickler for cleanliness and I was impressed with just how clean and up to date our room was …with Mountain View’s off the back porch! Located in the heart of downtown, we could walk to restaurants and shops!

Noise from upstairs was annoying. Had no tissues after first day. Asked for them but never got them

I have no complaints about the room or the service

Check in was easy and quick. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The entire facility was very well kept inside and out. Both pools were beautifully clean.

I think that the floors needed vacuuming at least once. An Ice maker on the back section would be nice.

It is a beautiful, restful place and very convenient. I appreciate the grab bars in the bathroom!
