Beds were hard, breakfast was not good, I didn’t like the $100 deposit and having to have our room looked at upon checking out. It makes you feel like you’re staying in a very low class place.

Ice machine was not on my floor, Vending machine didn’t have a working card reader. A little outdated but it is a budget hotel.

I stayed almost 2 weeks there as I was relocating due to a divorce. Off the main path, so I was able to avoid any papers being served. I used the washer/dryer there. I used the covered parking, especially nice during a summer hailstorm. Lacking in vending machines for a larger variety of drinks and snacks for cravings. Only a single machine and it didn’t have a working card reader. Good place, comfortable beds, quiet. Five stars

We liked everything about the Guest House Inn. If we need to stay in Lubbock again, we will definitely stay here.

The Guest House Inn is an older motel which may not satisfy every traveler, but it was perfect for us. It is owned by a family that was very friendly and accommodating. The room rate was very good. The room was not fancy but it had everything we needed. It had two queen beds, a TV, Wi-fi, a microwave, and a fridge. The room was very clean and very quiet. It is located on a side street, so there was no noise. It is only 5 minutes from UMC and is close to a variety of dining options. We actually ended up staying another night because we were totally satisfied with our room. They do offer a medical discount if you ask.

Breakfast provided is very limited.

I like that the place is very clean. Room has 2 beds. AC is working properly and has additional fan at center of room. Microwave oven and fridge is also available. Ice and drinking water is 24 hrs free. Pets are allowed with a minimal fee per day. They also have covered parking! Hotel has cctv camers even in the parking area so i felt safe during my stay.

The location kindof looks a little rough on the outside but i believe its due to construction. But they also have 24 hr surveillance.

Breakfast was great and simple. The waffles were a great addition to the breakfast line. Everything was clean. Staff was super nice and helpful. And very close to Tech campus. Will be staying again in the future!!

Would have liked a little more choice on breakfast ... There was only waffle and cereal along with coffee and juice ... But there were plenty of dining options within minutes. And it would have been good if bottled water and diet drink options had been available in the vending machine.

It was an older property and showed its age in places but was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping staff clearly took pride in keeping it that way. Its location was central for hospitals and university and within easy reach of everything else. Parking was convenient with some covered parking which would have been a real bonus if bad weather was forecast. The beds were comfy and maybe over time the full size beds will be replaced with queens. Huge section of cable options on TV.
