Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesSome of the electrical outlets did not work. $58 per day for parking. We stayed 1 night. We used the parking garage after checkout as well as we had nearly 6 hours left on the ticket.
Close to everything. Restaurants, shops and cable cars. View of the city.

United KingdomSFO has a bad homeless problem that's getting worse. It's a shame and at times heart breaking to see these young people. If you've never been to SFO, it's very in your face. We weren't hassled by anyone. But it can be an eye opener. The whole city wreaks of weed and wee! See past that and it's still a great base for a West coast adventure, to start a cruise as we did or just visit the city
Nice big room, bit of a hike to get to but worth it. We been to SFO and stayed before, so we had an idea of the location of the hotel. Close to Union Square, shops and bars. Still classed as near/in the financial district, so much quieter in the area than our visit in 2019, following from the pandemic. Nice Irish bar very close by. Good location for seeing the sights. Accommodation in SFO isn't cheap, wherever you stay. We used this hotel as a stopover, before joining a ship the next day.

United KingdomWe had advised the hotel we were on our honeymoon - when we arrived we had been upgraded to a suite which was lovely. The room was spacious and we had been given a bottle of champagne and snacks to welcome us. Very quiet part of the hotel so no neighbour noise. Slight issue with the loo one morning but this was resolved. Ideal location just off Union Square - easy walk for cable car/metro/Big Bus and shopping. Given a voucher for discount off at the diner around the corner - think everyone in the area had a voucher as we did have to queue outside for a while. Shame the hotel didnt have an open bar/restaurant of their own. Minor issue though as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

United StatesSome of the staff was rude and snobby. Also, to get to the overpriced parking garage you had to navigate your way around different buildings and several floors. There was no easy way to get your luggage to your car.
The location was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable.

United Kingdomstale smell in room and hotel, I booked the hotel for £468, but could not pay until arrival which became £517 due to the exchange rate. I think this is unfair as I booked it on the basis of it being £468. I think if you book a room, the price should be locked in.

Staff were excellent. Very close to every where we were going. Very accessible to bus line. Great location. Parking garage! Room was very clean. But the room was very small. Kind of clostrophobic. Housekeeping was great. What ever we needed was brought to us immediately(needed a new TV remote, and more towels) would stay here again, but would request a little bigger room!!
