We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Austriano breakfast possibilities (but they give you a 20% voucher for your whole stay for a breakfast restaurant near by which serves incredibly good breakfast !!) / a little bit noisy if you are located near the room service staff-room
Location directly at Union square with food and shopping possibilities close by! access to public transport e.g bus / tramway 3-5min walk! car rental possibilities 5min walk / very good for sightseeing / friendly staff!!

IrelandThe room was so hot, the air con didn’t work properly. There was a bad musky smell in the bedroom due to the hotel being really old. Really thin walls, could hear a lot of noise especially the people above us walking around their bedroom.
Hotel was in a great location, right in the centre of union square, lots of shops and restaurants around. We booked a petite room but our room was a lot bigger than we expected. Quick check in which was nice after a flight.

We love the location in Union Square and its proximity to the Muni trains and BART. You can get a Muni day pass for $5 -we rode 3 times and got off at Oracle Park for the Giant’s game. The staff at The Handlery is wonderful.

United StatesWe were sad to see the hotel bar was gone. And we found blood ( not ours) on one of our bedspreads. Housekeeping came quickly to change the bedding. But it was surprising that they didn’t catch that when making the bed.

SpainWe got a room that was connected to the next through a locked door. This next room was occupied by other guests. We could hear everything they were doing, resulting in a no-privacy feeling. In addition, the room was cold and heating had a cap of 70F, resulting in being cold at night.
The room was clean and very big. When cold, staff provided us with blankets quickly and they were so nice with us.
