Most of the staff were lovely and helpful apart from one man who was incredibly rude and huffy. Husband went to get a trolley to take our bags downstairs, hotel policy is guests can't use trolleys, hotel staff have to do it. Fair enough. But the bloke then sighed, huffed and puffed and treated us like we were a huge inconvenience to him! He bashed our bags into walls and doors and when our taxi was 10 mins late he was most put out. Apart from that hotel was ok 👍

Location was perfect for us. Right near shops and restaurants and walkable to everywhere else we went. Bed was sooooooo comfy. Room small but had everything we needed and it was really clean.

The water pressure for the toilet was not very good, and the walls are a little thin.

This hotel has an amazing location! In the heart of Union Square, it is surrounded by many stores for shopping and restaurants. The Handlery is just down the block from huge Macys that has Starbucks, Cheesecake Factory, Jamba Juice, and more. The hotel was clean, and the room was a nice size.

wish each room had its own microwave and having a cost almost $200 to park our car for three days. But all the hotels downtown do that I guess.

it’s right in the heart of downtown San Francisco, which makes it easy access for anything you want to do. Shopping, eating, public, transportation, etc.

when I looked at the photos of yhe hotel at home there was balconys and light and looked welcoming. when we arrived and walked into the room. it was so dark and with old decor, we went open the windows and there was walls right in front. it was dark and so depressing. around 10pm there was a Lound hammering noise, after 20 mins I was about to complaine but it stopped.

nothing. the room was dark and badly needed modernising. we couldn't wait to get to the airport and get home

The room upgrade for my 60th was welcome. Lovely kind of suite overlooking Union Square. Tour bus 2 minutes away. You get 20% discount at the cafe around the corner. Fabulous meals. Also supermarket two minutes away and 24 hour restaurant.
