I didn’t like the layout of the house but being just two of us no big deal. I just prefer bedroom on main floor.

The place is very comfortable, beautiful, clean, if you are looking for a remote and quiet place this is perfect. I had communication with the owner all the time, we did not have any problems. We were two families, 8 people in total, very comfortable and beautiful. The basement is a little cold but there are gas heaters to keep you warm, as well as plenty of blankets. We all really enjoyed this place.

I am a worrywart. I was concerned that it didn't have another lock on the door besides the code panel. Other than that it was great.

It was very private and secluded.

Decided to book this for a nice weekend relaxing trip with the grandkids. We arrived to cabin pretty late after spending the day in town and watching the Christmas parade. We arrived about 8:45. Upon arrival the cabin was freezing temperature inside was 43 with heat off just fan on to 60. We reached out to the staff in regards this. They just apologized and said to give it time to warm up. Thankfully I had an electric heater we used in the living room because the gas fireplace was not working nor was it user friendly. About 10am my daughter wanted to shower and NO running water.. we reached out again they said they would let their local team know asked for an ETA and weren’t able to provide. Woke up at 8am still with no water reached out again they said temperatures were going to reach 50 and that should help?? But still didn’t send anyone out I asked them for another eta they just kept saying local team was aware about 11 I started to fall hotels to find a place to stay. They offer to compensate $111 for the inconvenience. I fought that and said that was not enough. They suggested they could relocate us about 12:30-1 they offered a townhome. Which just was not a good offer since we have small children. We had already waste half the day for a better solution. They also offer to cancel our reservation and fully refund us. I felt that was fair and would cover for the hotel we were able to book. When I emailed them back to cancel and confirm the total amount they would refund never received an email back. I called them in the middle of on hold I received a message on booking.com she said they would just be able to refund 264.99 which was one night and the cleaning fee. We would have obviously left earlier if they would have given better and sooner solutions but we stuck around and waited. Where were we suppose to go the first night it being late and with small kids? We stayed in a cold cabin with no water and still were charged.

The beds were clearly slept in and dirty. Towels were used and on the floor of each bathroom. Dishes in sink and trash still in the house.

The place wasn’t clean very well they only gave you one trash bag for a 5 day stay and no where to put a full bag of trash after it was full and we had a baby with us plus half the rocking chairs were broken on the porches so you couldnt sit outside and enjoy the morning with your coffee and the other seats were so dirty and full of spiders that you couldnt sit on them in fear of getting bit. Plus the door wasn’t easy to lock we had to put the code in at less 3 times when leaving for the door to finely lock.

it was away from the hustle and bustle of the tours area but not to far away that it took you for ever to get some where it was quiet and peaceful
