Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI was very interested in going to the steak house that was in hotel. The menu items were generally twice the price that I was comfortable paying.
A clothes steamer was provided in the room. This appliance freshened my clothes and was better suited to removing wrinkles than an iron. As a matter of fact, when I returned home, I purchased the exact steamer for my home use..

United StatesWalls were very thin. We could hear the person snoring in the next room and people in the hallway. Also, we went to get a drink in the bar and staff started arguing in front of us and messed up our bill and then wouldn’t fix it.
Room was updated and clean. Hotel is in good location. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.

United StatesThe pool walls had quite a bit of mold on them. One of the members of our party was in the pool area for about 30 minutes and had such a bad allergy attack that she could no longer use the pool or the pool area. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was so that the kids could all swim. So that automatically excluded one of the children. The coffee maker in one of our two rooms was broke. The handheld shower head in one of our two rooms was also broke. They're in check out there was a gentleman who had a small electric space heater in his hand and as he gave it back to the front desk she asked if it was sufficient to heat his room last night. Being in Wisconsin the overnight low was about 15°. So it was surprising that they let somebody stay in a room without heat instead of moving him to a different room.
The updated room was very nice. The staff was also very friendly and easy to work with. We had four children under the age of 14 with us and they were able to work out our rooms where we were able to have adjoining rooms. The location is fabulous. We were able to walk to the performing arts center for the show we went to that evening as well as walk and get dinner versus waiting for doordash or delivery.

United StatesI did not realize before arrival that parking was not available from the hotel. On street parking required paying by meters for most of the day Monday through Saturday, or there was a parking ramp nearby. we were traveling with our dog, but the hotel did not know that when we checked in since we booked through Booking.com. We were put in a wing, where we were told we could only use the elevator. The stairs were off-limits. This was stressful for my dog. it was calm and quiet the first night we were there but the second night there were lots of people talking just outside our door until well after 1 AM in the morning so sleep was not great . The pool was cold .

United StatesThere were no drawers to put clothes and the room was very warm. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone up to look at it and bring a fan. A fan was brought but the temperature was not looked at. My son had stayed in the room directly across from where we stayed 2 weeks ago and he stated the exact same happened with the room being warm. Someone came and actually fixed theirs though. We would not stay again due to the warm room.
The location was downtown and close to many restaurants and stores. Spacious room.
