Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Breakfast was good. Just wish it was open a bit sooner as there were a lot of people Running in the Drake Relay Road Race that would have liked to eat a small bowl of cereal or fruit prior to running the 1/2 marathon

Would have been nice to have a hot tub.
Loved the pool and that it wasn't super deep. Location was great and staff was very nice. Really appreciated the breakfast included.

Convenient to Drake University so could walk to all appointments. Comfortable, clean, good breakfast, snacks, god sized refrigerator and freezer, including dishes and silverware, comfortable pillows, hot water, lot of towels. I'll be back.

Price quote when booked wasn’t honored - if you book with this property prepay and have your receipt available. If I knew this was going to happen I would have booked a nicer property elsewhere. The pool had green scum on the bottom and around the edges. Nasty!

The room was dated, mattress old, furniture (couch) falling apart, and carpeting dirty and thread bare. This was an unacceptable dog room. We will never stay at this establishment again.

The parkin lot was odd. Main entrance is on the side of the building. It took me a little while to figure out when was the hotel Main entrance and parking.

The room we stayed in is showing some wear. There was rust in the bathroom from the hand rail and one of the drawers didn't close all the way.
Location is excellent for anyone visiting Drake University. Eveything at Drake is easily walkable from the hotel, plus there are good restaurants within walking distance like the Drake Diner and Lucky Horse.

I thought we were getting 2 queen beds and we had a bed and pull out couch. The couch was not comfortable for sleeping. our room also smelled of sewer gas. Also a lot of noise between 9 and 11 pm making sleeping difficult.

When we arrived, the lobby smelled like cigarettes and toxic cleaning products. One of the staff members licked her fingers while sorting papers which grossed me out as she was also responsible for handing people their room key. I discovered two long black hairs on my sheets. (they were not mine as I have super short blonde hair) I am hopeful the sheets were clean, but that makes one wonder. I also found small a random hair around the bathroom sink.
The location is the great. The staff is friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of healthy choices. I liked the curtain between the bed and sofa bed. The shower nice. The water was warm.

For some reason, the front desk did not have our Booking.com reservation and it caused us to have to buy TWO rooms since they did not have and double queen w/pullout. I was very disappointed that this happened especially since the exact same issue occurred the last time I stayed at this hotel (they were able to get us the same room configuration so I did not think too much about it.) The front desk worker and the manager were VERY unhelpful, did not seem to care at all. It was very disappointing. Wont be staying there again mainly due to the staff and how they did nothing to help the situation. Not sure why the Booking.com reservation was not honored, even with a confirmation email and number. POOR!
The hotel itself is quite nice. large rooms, very clean, great amenities and location to Drake. The bed was very comfortable and i loved the kitchenette in the room.

The room was horrible the first room I checked in the heat was on. The toilet seat came off as well. The shower was not clean so I checked out. I got a new room and the same thing the toilet seat came off. I slept through the night and checked out before my scheduled check out time. I have never had rooms that made me like oh no I need to go asap until my stay at this property.
The staff was awesome the staff member that checked me in and out went above and beyond with a smile. This person answered questions fund solutions to problems just made me stay over night.

Our door didn't lock. The manager promised us before we left that they would fix it. They didn't. Our stuff could have been stolen. Then we had to reconfirm our refund before we left after we were told that it would be done the night prior. Oh and the parking was TERRIBLE.
The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Cool gym.
