They did not serve breakfast, but they did provide coffee and tea in the morning. There were also coffee makers if you needed any at other times of the day. There were coffee houses near by that you could walk or drive to.

Liked it all! No elevators though, so it could be a challenge for some people.

It was a lovely historical hotel, once a school. We loved the period decor and the afternoon tea / scones. It was very welcoming and the staff was well versed and willing to share information about the building. Great location for battlefield tours, and local shops.

My only concern was that there isn’t a way to access the parking lot on the right side of the building, which is the way Google Maps took us, so we had to turn around and get to the left side. Such a minor thing though :)

The room was absolutely beautiful! It was a great price. I love that the building itself has a history to it and is decorated to suit that history.

We had a light dinner down stairs. The quality of the food was not as impressive as the building in my opinion. The food was good except Shelly"s chicken in her salid was hard and dry. I will say that the waitress did not charge us for the chicken. That was nice.

I loved that this building once was an old school house now converted into an Inn. I hate to see old buildings empty or falling down. It was really very nice!

I loved that it is an old school turned hotel. The historic charm works well there. I liked that they put out scones and tea in the afternoon and that there is a pub/ dining room downstairs.

Our only minor critique is that the room was a bit too hot temperature wise at night. We were able to handle it though.

The Federal Pointe Inn in Gettysburg, PA was one of the finest Inn's I have ever stayed in. From start to finish, it was Exceptional in history, interior design capturing the style of the American Revolution and Civil War era's. The room we stayed in #307 had the most beautiufl king sized 4 poster, canopy bed that was Super Comfortable to sleep in. The room also had it's own keurig coffee/ tea making station with a refrigerator. A private bathroom with a large tub and a beautiful shower area. The coziness of the room was enhanced by the high ceilings, design, Civil war era furniture and paintings. In the am, I was able to enjoy the small work out room on the elliptical machine (there was a treadmill and reclinging exercise bike too with tv for watching the morning news or shows. Next to the gym was a cozy bar with delicious and generous portions of wine. This place is Highly Recommended and I would recommend putting this Inn into your contacts for those special vacations where you need rest and relaxation in addition to being pampered.

We turned off the heat and had to crack the windows, as it was especially hot. But, some people might like that as it was very cold out.

Location was walking distance to the Square. Hotel was beautiful. The pub was very nice and very convenient. Mike the bartender was especially nice.

The staff was wonderful and always helpful. The room was absolutely amazing, it was huge, the bathroom had a soak in tub and separate shower. Everything was super clean and the pub in the lower level was great.

Beautiful historic hotel. Very friendly staff. Comfortable gracious room with very nice bath. Loved the free parking right at the entrance. Nice pub with restaurant across the parking lot.
