We stay at Howard Johnson every time we are in town and always had good stays...this past one wasn't as good however.. The tub was clogged up, air in the room didn't work good, machines broke in breakfast area, torn sheets on our bed, blanket smelled funny....

The entire stay an alarm kept going off …. It drove me crazy! Notified staff issues was not resolved! The beds are SUPER SMALL…. Water stains on the walls… bath tub was so dirty I decided to leave without showering.

Room was dirty, French fries on the floor, a sock, a toy car, and dirty on the floor and in the dressers. No enough towels or toilet paper for four guests.

Water dripped out of ceiling in shower, then chunk of small plaster fell while showering. Went to play pool, no chalk so cues just slipped off balls...front did not have chalk. Costs 1.25 to get balls, then poor play. Said breakfast full, not continental, but only thing hot was biscuits and gravy. No hot tub. Disappointed in stay completely not what was expected, especially recreationally...disappointed.

Found a centipede in the bathroom but that wasn't detrimental. We booked this hotel mainly because the pool area looked very nice but when we got there it was cloudy and looked like there was some debris on the bottom. We could not swim because our daughter is in current treatment for leukemia and she can only swim in chlorinated, clean water. With it being cloudy we just couldn't be certain.

I really loved the set up of the hotel itself. The location is great and the fact that there is a game room and other recreational activities was fun, we were disappointed that it cost money to play pool and the air hockey table was broken. Breakfast was really good, the selection was decent.

We found the carpet in our room had traces of candy that would stick to your feet. The carpet going up the stairs to 2nd level was dirty, the furniture is old. The pool looked not clear and you could see a coat of oil floating on the surface (probably from sunscreen). I would recommend an upgrade because this hotel would be a diamond based on how it was designed.

Highly allergic to dogs didn’t know they let animals stay - lit up my allergies, caused asthma attack. morning no more hot food was ready or coffee made so left without breakfast

I didn't like that the room we had reserved had a maintenance problem(supposedly)They didn't have one with a king bed to replace it, So they put us on the main floor , Right behind the pool, With 2 double beds( Not an ideal room) It was so loud we had to turn our TV up just to drown out the noise, We had to keep our curtains shut so everyone couldn't see in. The 2 lady's at the front desk said the called and left me a message 45 min prior to us being there, That was a complete lie, It was 9 min , That was after check in at 4:10. I asked why they didn't call sooner then they replied they just figured out that the room had a MAINTENANCE problem. The hotel was not busy, I don't understand why they couldn't give us a room with a king bed or a room away from the bottom floor and pool. One more thing they did try and give me 10 DOLLARS off our room , Can you believe that, Then I was still complaining so they ended up giving us $ 20.00, Big deal. My husband normally works 6 days a week but got an extra day because of Memorial Day, So we were really looking forward to this little getaway . I spoke to a maid and she suggested that we ask for a room on the 4rth floor that she new they had rooms, BUT of course the lady at the desk said they were completely booked, What a joke. Our room number was 114 on 1st floor.The ladies at the desk acted like that was a privilege to stay in this room. Thanks Kim Quinn

breakfast was available at 6am, the trash cans in the room still had trash from the previous person staying there. The toilet wasn’t clean.

the room seemed very clean except the bathrooms. we rented two rooms and bathrooms in both rooms were not clean! both had multiple hairs in the sinks and shower. and 1 of the bathrooms had 2 opened already used bar of soap in it with a hair it!

My wife and I stayed a couple nights for our anniversary but it was ruined we were deserved all night long did not even get to sleep because of the grown men next door acting like children.

It's a nice place my wife and I like staying there on special occasions but there was nothing to like this time horrible stay

shower curtain had mold spots on it and there was a Parmesan cheese packet on the floor when we arrived so I had to wonder how well it was cleaned, elevator definitely made some clunking noises

The beds and pillows were miserable. We stayed in #130 and the bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab. The pillows are well past their prime. I tossed and turned non stop until 2am, when I debated if the floor would be more comfortable. I decided against it because it's a public place with lots of foot traffic and laying on the floor seemed like a bad idea. I ended up staying awake the entire night. Thankfully the breakfast area offered outstanding coffee that got me through the morning and afternoon

Beautiful property with amazing staff. Billie checked us in and gave us suggestions. She was outstanding and made us feel super welcomes! Rooms decorated perfect. The bartender at the pizza place was outstanding. The pool table and games was so much fun for my family. As a whole, the interior is beautiful.
