Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The rooms didn't get cleaned til late in the day, several times we wanted to rest and had to wait or even asked them to bypass. The rooms don't have any space to put clothing or personal items. no coffee service, Restaurant breakfast was cold and expensive. Went elsewhere to eat.

No hotel chairs at the beach. No breakfast included. No free water. We arrived late, around 9 pm, because of a flight cancellation and could not get any later check out than 11 am?

We booked 3 rooms. In two rooms air-conditioning was broken, additionally in one the the two rooms, a sharp edge of the bed's corner cut one of our friend's leg. So we had to move from the 2 rooms ( I personally had to move at 2 AM, it was 16 degrees in the room with water covering all the surfaces ). There were bedbugs in all three rooms. 3 guests (out of 6 ) had bites, every morning new bite. Hotel manager ignored our complaint. Additionally, hotel manager booked for us and received the payment from us (cash) for our excursion, however, the manager disinformed us about the excursion details. We missed the excursion (that was booked for my Birthday). The manager refused to return the money... After expressing several times our disappointment..., the hotel manager finally agreed to give us 20% discount on the final bill.

The pool was cold every time we tried it. No specific instructions how to get to the private beach. Also the parking was so complicated, on our last day they just brought our car out without asking and then told us that we need to get our car by 2pm or they will charge us for one more night,but previously they told us that we can leave our car with them as long as we want.
The location is good, the staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean

Make the pool area a lot neater and cleaner people are putting their cigarette butts out and leaving them there under the chairs which I thought was gross
The breakfast was very good I like that we got 20% off every morning and the staff that waited on us every morning just was excellent like they were family they remember us and showed us so much love

We had left some dirty towels for change and the staff just picked it up, folded it and out it back on the counter, toilet paper was not refilled, we had to call reception. And ask for those things to be done.

Outside the property they were tampons garbage and people urinating in the valet parking lot as well as a homeless man eating right in front of the hotel. It was disgusting and did not feel safe!!

This is just nitpicking, but the coffee capsules replenishment was not very consistent

We had 3 rooms, one room the bed was comfortable. The other 2 rooms the beds were not. We had to get Ice from the 4th floor and when it was empty had to go the bar, which sometimes they acted like it was a problem. Had to buy a coffee, cause the machine in the room didn't work.
