we had an excellent breakfast in the hotel. And they made a special latte for me. Kiddos to the chef for our Christmas Eve dinner (surf/turf). Brisket burgers the next day were Amazing and Unique. We had a great time.

United StatesThe front desk staff were all helpful and friendly, which was good because the spa wasn't open to shop at or make an appointment, and the front desk had no idea that there were different hours due to construction. I also had to get the front desk to go to the kitchen to place a food order, which was less than expectations when the food arrived. For a non smoking facility there were ppl smoking everywhere as well as cigars and cigarette boxes in every garbage can. The inn was very warm everwhere except one hallway…
The front desk staff was friendly. Upon exploration of the entire resort it has possibilities if you come in winter or during events, especially if you rent a house

CanadaWe kept receiving conflicting information from staff. When we checked in we were told the hotel was now cash free but we could charge everything to the room and pay in cash at the front desk before checking out. We are Canadian so brought cash to avoid extra fees charged to our credit card. When we went to pay, a different staff member said we weren't allowed to pay in cash. It was frustrating and they didn't seem to care that we were told differently. The manager made an exception to take our cash but the rule seemed odd since you can pay cash to get a card to use on site. I didn't understand why cash for that was ok but not to pay our balance off. Another time we went to the restaurant to order a pizza to go. The server asked if they wanted us to bring the pizza to our room for us. I asked if there was any additional charge for this and was told no, so we agreed to it. When the pizza arrived there was $11 in extra fees charged. When I asked why there were extra fees the manager advised there is a room service charge and a mandatory gratuity fee of 18%. We asked if they could remove this since we were told conflicting info. They said they would check but nothing was done. Another time I went to the pool and the person who checked us in took our pool passes. When I asked later how to get the passes back, I was told they were gone and the rep shouldn't have kept them. I would have to go to the front desk to get more. Since it was their error I found it odd they were making us go to the front desk rather than offering to do this for us. We also saw the lifeguards fighting with each other which was awkward. So a few frustrating experiences but overall the stay was ok. The pool was the main event. We would return for that alone.

United StatesThe steps. To get to the room with all the luggage was a challenge. Also to get to the pool there are alot of steps. They are a cashless facility and I dont think thats legal. The entire facility needs updated.
The beds were comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. The ice machine was close and there was a laundry room. The pool was nice

United StatesThe restaurant was terrible. Like public areas of the hotel, it's not been updated from the 1970s. The restaurant could work with this and really go with it as a theme. Instead, it just was shabby. We went for the eclipse. $600 for one night. Checked the prices for any other time near then...$85. Sigh.
I'm not sure. It was just a bizarre experience. The room was luckily quiet but why are earplugs provided beside the bed?

United StatesJust because there wasn’t many people staying at the hotel, the restaurants inside the facility were closed. There was no rugs for shoes so the whole place got dirty from going outside. We did not have day over service at all and we were there for 2 nights. $230 for a room for 2 nights and there was only bagels and coffee for breakfast available. We were super excited to get there then was instantly let down when we realized all of those things.
I liked the fact that everything was easy to find.
