Leslie was the hostess with the Mostest. My husband and I felt at home. I love B&Bs. Way more personable than a hotel! Can't praise enough. No other place to stay in Dayton.

different food choices. I say that so that people can save money instead of having to order food. Also instructions on where to put the linen should probably be visual so that we don't forget. Other than that our stay was perfect

The privacy, the jacuzzi, the bed.

Maybe guests of the b&b should get a couple taste for free. We didn't love spending $4 for a sip of the wine we ended up getting anyway. The bathroom could use some additional counter space. Recycling bins in the rooms would be a sustainable touch.

The champagne suite was huge! It had the kitchen stocked with some snacks and breakfast items! The hot tub room was lovely. Location close to several restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking. Loved the record player once we figured it out lol. The place is dated but it gives the nostalgic vibes that make you remember life before cell phones took over. Having the wine shop right on site was nice and convenient too. Parking was convenient!

Nothing that really affects the stay or its evaluation, but the outside of the house needs a complete restoration to further improve the experience.

The accommodation is in a beautiful Victorian-style house. All the interiors and amenities are in a vintage style, but everything is very well preserved and functional. Leslie is a very friendly, helpful and cheerful person, which makes the accommodation even better. The location is excellent and there are several food options nearby. I traveled to Dayton solely to visit the United States Air Force Museum.

It is an old home and not set up as well as a building designed for use as an inn.

The owners were very nice and really helpful.

The blocked business district streets cut off the most logical route to the house so that it is necessary to take alternate routes which are complicated by one way streets. However, it worth the trouble!

Where to begin....We stayed in the Champagne Suite. One would get the impression from the listing that this was a large room or perhaps a room with an adjoining smaller room. This is literally a 2 bedroom apartment. And the second bedroom has actually been transformed into a private spa of sorts with a hot tub! There was a fully stocked kitchen with fresh food and beverages in the fridge as well as additional food items in the cabinet. All of which provided numerous options for breakfast and snacking. It was clean and quiet. We had a designated parking space labeled with our name. The house itself is a charming 2 story brick house dating back to the 1870's. The entire neighborhood consists of historic brick homes dating back to the 1850's on shady tree-lined streets (some still with cobblestones). Great for strolling. The entire neighborhood atmosphere reeks of charm. 1/2 a block over from the house is a small business district. On weekends during the summer that street is blocked for 2 blocks to vehicle traffic-pedestrians only. There are various restaurants/bars with outdoor seating and small businesses which we found very enjoyable. Overall an A+++++ experience.

I think bc of the picture accompanying the room reservation online, I was expecting two full beds, so I was surprised when one of our beds was a pull-out couch. I should have read more carefully or asked for clarity. My son just slept on the couch without pulling it out and he slept fine, but I felt sorry for him, haha.

I loved the coffee set up and half and half. We appreciated that there were cold drinks and yogurts available in the fridge 24/7. Check-in lady was friendly. The room was neat and clean and the bathroom was very spacious. I like the ease and simplicity of the breakfast offerings. I appreciated the availability of ear plugs, fan, and air conditioner. I like that the decor was not super modern, but that it has been well-kept and neat. It made it feel hospitable and homey.

The neighbors were replacing their roof and the workers arrived early. BUT there was ear plugs provided at the bedside.

It is so close to some really good restaurants!! The Corner Kitchen and Jay’s Seafood were just blocks away. It is in a normally quiet neighborhood. And you have designated parking. This is our second stay and the staff was just as friendly as they were last year.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly. She made us feel so welcome. The room was very nice. Bed was warm and comfy. Bathroom was spacious. Loved the spa tub. Jay's seafood, that's right by the hotel, had amazing seafood. They had a parking spot w our last name, hill, saved for us. My husband and I would definitely stay there again

Unfortunately, the room we stayed at was not good for my allergies. It's a very old building and I think the room needs a paint and some refreshing as the walls are a bit old and musty and for me I was not able to sleep next to the wall. There's a lot of dust on the windowsill so if you have allergies this could be an issue. For the price, I would really expect the walls to be painted and fresh otherwise they're very musty.

The lady who runs the place is very nice and super helpful and I absolutely loved that they had wine tastings, which was super nice after a long drive. The living room is very cozy and the breakfast is basic but nice and included cereal , coffee, muffins, toast. The location is absolutely fantastic and you don't need to drive anywhere and we went to the Irish pub down the street for dinner which was super good. We had the whole upstairs part which was nice and spacious with plenty of room and it was clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was so cute that they put little soaps and things in the bathroom was good overall.

There isn't anything I would change about this place. It met my needs perfectly so I can't really offer any negatives at this time.

Super cute room, it was a lovely place to stay. They had a parking space right out front for me, a lovely wine bar, and there were plenty of great places around to go eat or drink if you wanted to! It was a fantastic place for me and my girlfriend to enjoy time together.

Stairs were a little steep going up to the room---when I'm older that's going to be a problem for me!

Very handsome, comfortable, welcoming, relaxing place. Leslie and Jeff were great hosts, very friendly and outgoing. That the place doubles as a wine tasting place is fun. The house is obviously built solid and did a pretty good job of keeping the noise out from the street. Loved using the turntable and spinning a few old LPs while reading in the living room.

I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay. Leslie was very responsive when we requested additional supplies.

Location was fantastic. We walked most of the time. Great restaurants in the area. The inn was wonderful. It was an easy check in even though we arrived late evening. We appreciated the coffee maker (and coffee supplies) in our kitchen area and the continental breakfast in the common area was nice.

    No complaints at all.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Built in the 1800s it oozes old world charm and is very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast food was excellent - fresh fruit, beautiful dairy and bread products. Choice of cereals and an array of coffee or tea to choose from. We had stayed in budget hotels prior to this on our trip. This was slightly more expensive but massive value for money. Staying here was a wonderful travel experience.

It would've been nice to have a corkscrew around somewhere after hours since they are already encouraging you to buy their wine, and there was a little bit of dust here and there. The important things were all clean though, so I'm not complaining too much. The only other thing would be that the internet was insanely slow, but that seems pretty typical.

The staff was insanely nice, especially the owner! I also loved how charming it was and the little wine shop downstairs was nice! I also enjoyed the anytime breakfast options. I never like getting up at like 7am for a free breakfast on my vacations so it's much appreciated! Also I loved the spa tub!!
