Everything was perfect.

The cottages are spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked. The location is excellent, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and the bayfront setting provides stunning views and convenient ocean access. The complimentary kayaks and paddleboards are a fantastic bonus. Steve and Sue are wonderful hosts, always available to answer any questions.

Everything was perfect

Absolutely the most beautiful and serene resort I’ve ever been too. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. I didn’t take advantage of the paddle board or kayak, but I enjoyed the hammocks, the beach and all the different sitting areas just lounging and reading my book. Steve and Sue were so welcoming and friendly. I left there with two new friends.

There is no bar or drinks served on site so bring your own. The garage opposite is convenient to buy soda or beers.

Very homely cottage with great attention to detail. Loved the facilities down at the beach. We took up the opportunity to use the complimentary Kayaks to explore. The garden planting is beautiful and so relaxing to chill in.

had an issue with our room the last night we were there. with that being said the resort staff jumped right in our situation was addressed immediately. by immediately I mean 15 minutes later they were there and 30 minutes later our problem was addressed. I struggled with leaving this glowing review because I want to keep this place a secret but that would be very selfish of me and go against the keys island vibe.

the property is amazing. nicely located so it isn't in the craziness of the keys. 1 hr to marathon. 2 hrs to key west. 5 minutes to islamorada. serene and beautiful property. grounds are kept impeccably. nothing is out of place. the cottage style setup offers privacy at a realistic cost. amenities are perfect. beach is beautiful. water entry is nice and private as well. the rooms were clean and the cleaning personnel were very thorough. the real star of the show here is the upkeep of the property is absolutely 100% perfect. the sunsets on the beach are beyond description.

Nothing .This place is a paradise .

A true little paradise kept in immaculate condition by our hosts Steve and Sue who were terrific and extremely helpful. Great kayaking and swimming and saw baby nursing sharks and barracuda and lots of other fish off the pier.Extremely peaceful place although maybe quieter than peak season as went in October . Lovely Italian within a few hundred metres if you don’t want to self cater and plenty of other good options nearby . Snorkling on the reef 6 miles offshore via John Pennekamp reserve well worth a trip .

My only complaint was the lack of counter space in the bathroom, it would be very convenient to have more space to put toiletries! But the bathroom was very clean and tidy. There were quite a few no-see-em bugs all around, which of course is no fault of the property. They did provide bug spray and citronella candles on the patio tabletops which was nice. But just a reminder to bring some bug repellent if you are prone to getting bit :)

We stayed for two nights, it was such a nice time! Such a beautiful and well-maintained property, it was a quaint and private tropical getaway. Our cottage was very clean and cozy, the air conditioning worked well. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at the table and chairs outside our cottage, and used the grill in the front one night for dinner. The beach area is so nice, and there is plenty of seating for an unobstructed view of the sunset! We really enjoyed taking the paddleboards out on the water, it was very convenient having the ability to use them and the kayaks at any time. Overall we loved our stay here and would come back again! Great location, lots of good restaurants just a short drive away. They provided us a list of restaurant recommendations upon check in which was appreciated. The Square Grouper was great and the pizza from the Italian Food Company was some of the best I've had!

Had a wonderful time at Island Bay Resort. The property is lush and meticulously kept. There were so many nice and special touches. The paddle boards, paddle boat and kayaks were in great condition. Hosts, Sue and Steve, were incredibly welcoming and wonderful. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect!

Perfect location, within walking distance or short drive to many restaurants, bars and activities. The resort is small and absolutely beautiful. The beach has something for everyone. Kayaks, paddleboard, peddle boat and snorkel equipment available and free to use. Lots of seating. The water is crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling. Each cottage has a grill out front and they even supply the charcoal. The deck outside each room with a table and chairs is perfect for enjoying breakfast. This resort has so many things included and the staff is exceptional. The sunsets are absolutely stunning and this resort gives a front fow seat. 100% recommend!

There wasn't a single thing!

The private beach was maintained exceptionally well. We loved the fun outdoor activities they had available! The ease of access to the paddle boards and kayaks was great too. Such a relaxed and fun getaway! And staff were incredible!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a road trip and it was exactly what was needed. We stayed in cottage number 1 which was beautiful. It had lovely views and great facilities. Everywhere was spotless and the staff were very friendly. A special mention for Pat who welcomed us to the property who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The owner helped us out with printing our boarding passes as we were having trouble downloading them which was very kind too. If we were ever in the Keys again we would definitely stay over.
