No blankets, no working wifi above the first floor and the heat was up way too much. Too pricey still for all of that.

The employees were helpful and nice. I was also allowed to lock my baggage in a room.

bugs in the room they woke me up 2 hours before checkout to "mqke sure i leave in time" a guy came to clean the room at 10:30 and woke me up again (he said sorry and went out) no kitchen and the beds werent like in the photos

Everything other than location I didn't like, on the road and all the night loud noise of traffic could not make me sleep. Sound proofing zero as there are no curtains on window.. Dirty rooms and dirty washrooms,

The staff is really unkind, they did'nt give me the blankets or towel when I arrived to the hostel, I had to ask for that. The shared spaces were dirty and the vending machine was not working, the wifi only works in the reception desk, is not available in the bedrooms

Beds were hard, sheets not clean, bathrooms extremely old, only one power plug in the room. Overall the place seems a bit dodgy. Good for one night in NYC but not very comfortable.

Negative: Cockroaches!! In the bathroom, a lot of them. Broken old radiator. Was like a little volcano, making noise and expelling steam. They said it was normal, but the whole night i was afraid it would explode and give me a fountain of boiling water. There were no towels and no real blankets, just sheets. Pillow wrapped in plastic and feels like you sleep on a big package of M&Ms, making crackling sounds. There was no adapter from European to American power socket at the desk (sad, I couldn't charge my phone or computer). I got a headache, after that broken heating. No payment online via booking. (it delivered a lot of stress, because I couldn't pay immediately).

Positive: friendly and very informal people at the desk. Hot water (bring your own tea bags and cup though). Location is super. Room - not bad. For the 50 euro I got a room for my own. A bit depressing grey bunk bed, but for the rest pretty nice. Even nice old chest. Nice: images in the corridor. Elveator works well. Enough bathrooms. Design (red pipes on the ceiling, weird but cool). Nice: there was an exit to fire stairs from my window. I could use it as a private balcony. Nice: Fridge to use. Chill space to work. People with dogs allowed. Longer stays deals allowed. (good!)

This hostel having WiFi issues it’s working only Ground floor they must need to fix this problem. I recommend all the solo travelers do not take upper floor rooms facilities is very bad no proper cleaning and internet.

The hostel having cleaning facilities issues. Specially Toilets must be clean every day it was horrible to go 2nd floor washroom. Bed sheets didn’t clean properly it was yellow color stains everywhere

There was a loud noise from a valve that could not be closed. The window could also not be closed properly which made the room cold. Besides that the window was very thin glass, so the noise from the street got right through. The washing table was broken and the toilet could not be flushed properly. Besides that, no towels were offered. The worst of all was that the door was slammed before so I could get in the room without a key easily. That made me very uncomfortable. All in all, a bad experience.

I thought I had booked a private room, because it read "single room" on Booking.com. But it turned out to be a double room in the end with another guy. Very strange situation it was.

Everything over there are horrible,the room was very dirty everywhere.!I ask for blanket then give me with lots of hair and spots,the staff very unkind.!! The toilet even worse 🤮🤮🤮 and wifi only in lobby,the worse place l ever stay.!

Ended up in a room where the other guy snoozed a lot. So didn’t sleep well. Reception team doesn’t care, seems like no extra mile at all that’s the customer service type. Means customer won’t come back for sure
