All of the amenities were located far away from the rooms, which made things like ice a really big pain and a long trip outside. I didn't expect the doors to open outside like motel doors, but the view was beautiful. Beach access was close on both sides of the linear layout, and they offered some nice complementary extras like bicycle rental.

AC unit had red and blue flashing lights in it: didn’t realize this until we tried going to sleep and it was like a disco ball on the ceiling (shining up from the AC unit). Rooms are a little dated.

The room was just okay, dated, old school toilet. The door to the room had almost no weather stripping on bottom (sunlight shining through) and it was COLD at night, so I had duck tape and used it to seal bottom of door (I’ve run into that issue before). The second day I tried calling the front desk but phone wasn’t working. Come to find out, someone had us assigned to a different room for the remaining stay, no one knew why, they corrected that issue. The Direct TV had terrible reception, kept freezing for minutes at a time. I reset receiver and it worked for a while then went back to freezing up.

Location, of course, nice outside with the fire pits, close to beach, nice pool and eatery, a newer washer and dryer (although in-season people must have to fight over them, the hotel has a lot of rooms:)

Initially in a room where there were three smokers outside my room and affected my asthma so they moved me.

First off they put us at the far end of the building away from all the services even though the hotel was not full. The bathroom sink was clogged and it seemed as if it had been worked on before and not fixed. The hot water in the room was anything but hot, warm at best. The Walls are very then as we could hear everything going on around us including children running. I would not stay there again.

The mattress sagged badly on one side. The breakfast buffet ($20 pp) seemed expensive for what it was; similar selections are usually included in the rate at other hotels. The free bikes need a bit of care; wonky saddles, low tire pressure, that sort of thing,

Modern renovated rooms in an older, but well maintained motel. Really nice landscaping that blends the hotel in with the dunes and beach. Special amber lights outside at night to not disturb the turtles. Dark skies at night. Many outdoor seating areas, some with (gas) fire pits. Free bike (2hr) rentals. Good-sized clean pool. The new 24 Coastal Grill has a good dinner selection and local beers - thank you AliMea for suggesting the roast Brussels Sprouts as a side dish; they were wonderful!. All servers were great. Very friendly service too at the 3rd floor coffee bar. At times it felt like we were the only ones at the resort and on the beach.

The room was okay, but it should have been better for the price. The very noisy air conditioning was placed directly above the bed, which significantly reduced the comfort of sleep.

Pet friendly. Excellent location with phenomenal views. Staff very friendly, accommodating and professional. It was a little confusing as first on where to go. And if you get a bottom room your view of the beach is covered up by some trees. Also to get to the hotel you had to pay a $10 toll fee.

I paid for a beachfront ocean view king room that was partially blocked by the back of the restaurant and the dog relief area. The rug in the room was very dirty and the shower had mold.

The location of the hotel is great. The restaurant food and staff was very good.
