It would have been nice to have had a complimentary breakfast or at least coffee offered. The Kuerig in the room didn’t work. Nice to have the restaurant so close, but it would have been better to have complimentary coffee.

Our AC was not working in our room. I called the front office and maintenance came within minutes. They determined there was a problem and we were moved to another room immediately. Staff was so helpful and pleasant. Loved the facility and location…so close to the beach, beautiful grounds, relaxing fire at night and a delicious restaurant on site.

Breakfast, the pool is brown or at least it is dark because it was painted dark. Kids nor parents liked swimming in it- creepy. We like blue pools

Beds uncomfortable room never cleaned pool and whirlpool were very dirty. Most of the lights were out on building and sidewalk. Had to ask for towels. Could be a beautiful place if maintance and repairs were done. Also toilet wouldn’t flush had a bad valve

I would have enjoyed it if the Bar near the pool stayed open in the evening hours. After our.kids.went to sleep, it could have been. A great place to socialize with other people. Not sure why it closed so early...also. it would be great to have a coffee option in the bar menu.

I loved the pet policy and the open grass areas near the room. One issue it the spikes that hide in the grass. Need to figure out how you make sure the grass if clean of them...

Room is old. Carpet, appliances, bathroom, furniture, sheets, everything pretty old - feels like it needs a really good revamp, cleaning and updating.

The first floor rooms have a backdoor with direct access to the garden, pool, and beach. It's literally a 90 second walk to the beach. You can't get more convenient than that.

Trash scattered about grounds which is a shame as the grounds are pretty. Kiddie pool out of service entire stay. Pet in room and the one day we took our dog with us for a day trip nobody cleaned the room. The pet fee for each day is also alittle steep.

Bed and pillows comfortable. Location was great. Handicap beach access wonderful. Pet friendly was main reason we chose this site.

Every time we went to the front desk there was no one in sight. We ended up just standing there until someone noticed us or randomly came out from the back. Also the lights along the path needed fixing. Many were out and it made it difficult for walking at night on the paths.

Beautiful pool area. Room clean and comfortable….price less than most on Island a good value for your money.

When I booked the room, it said it was on the bottom floor, but it wasn't. It said breakfast was included. But the hotel would only give us 2 breakfast tickets and we had to pay $24 a day for both of the kids to eat. I thought the refrigerator was gonna be bigger. Microwave turntable didn't work. I didn't like they turned the fireplace outside off at 10. The beds weren't that comfortable. Our deck door didn't want to shut. My husband ended up fixing the door for them. The Kids pool was out of order.

I like the turtle nest . The beach isn't overcrowded. We enjoy going to Driftwood Beach and rhw pier.

The two white women upon check-in, didn't believe I paid for breakfast even though I did online. They simply told me to call Booking.com for a refund. They could have simply believed me because they believed the other customer after me with a similar problem who was white. (I watched the entire exchange from the side, as I attempted to call Booking.com.) However, they didn't even care to look into the matter further or simply believe me. That exchange, while politely executed, took me at least twenty extra minutes to check in and, frankly, was embarrassing. I left feeling discriminated against. Not a pleasant start to my vacation. Later, when I discovered that all they had to do was literally write my room number on a paper card for breakfast, I was even more disappointed. I didn't ask for an act of Congress and I certainly wasn't requesting an upgraded room, even though my room wasn't pristine. (I found a bug near my bed, but figured it probably wondered in...) To put it bluntly, those white women were politely racist.

The person (with long hair and beard) during my checkout was exceptionally nice and helpful. They offered me the breakfast pass that I paid for, without question. And, they apologized for the treatment I received during check-in even though they were not present when the issue happened. Very professional and welcoming.

The hotel could use some upkeeping. Plants blocking walkways, Adirondack chairs dirty, not enough beach towels, outdoor showers from beach are all broken and rooms are clean but need updating.

The property was right on the beach. Convenient to great restaurants. Pool bar/grill was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was definitely a bonus.

The pool side bar was not open at all, the hotel was under going renovations. They need to tune up their bike rentals.

Wonderful pet friendly ocean front hotel, one of my favorite places I’ve stayed, so much we opted to stay another night because we did not want to leave. Had a minor issue with our room the first night but they happily moved us the next day.

The air conditioner didn’t seem to work as well at night but was very cold during the hot day which was unusually backwards, but the AC did work ! The toilet had a problem flushing once or twice.

The room we had was right near the walkway to the Beach. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are nice. The landscaping was done. They must be finished with renovations because it looks very nice there despite the bad reviews I read about it being run down.

Rooms needed to be updated. The desk in my room was nasty- looked like the lamp bases had deteriorated and was falling a part leaving a nasty black mess around it. I cleaned it up, but the lamp needs replacing.

The pool was a little run down. The bar has limited food...not like the Internet pictures would have you believe and the drinks were expensive and underpoured.

You could hear the people above us too clearly. The toilet only flushed every other flush and when I told the receptionist at check out, she clearly was disinterested. I understand that they are short staffed but it's simple fixes that keep people coming back or not.

The location is why we always choose to stay here. Beachfront has an excellent view.

Not us Booking.com. Admittedly cumputer challanged and tried to make reservations via cell phone. Did not realize and should have called hotel direct. Thought had booked seaside and got parking lot view.

Check in and location went well, as well as State of Georgia upgrades to island.
