Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI think that for the price, the crib we ordered could have been in the room at 4:30 when we checked in - and not needed the guest to call and remind the staff that it was required. Most other hotels we've stayed in have managed this. This is the first time I've stayed in a Marriott since a disastrous visit to the Essex in NYC. We only used it this time because of its proximity to a family member's home.
My family enjoyed the room.

United KingdomBeing unable to make contact before our stay, we also thought there would be more places to eat however only Rita’s and the pool bar were open and the pool bar closed early.
Being in the uk and the hotel in the USA initially it was difficult and frustrating contacting the hotel. So if an email address to the front reception was easily available that would be great. Once there the staff were brilliant especially Lux at reception.

CanadaFew miscommunications with staff regarding bikes and tables. There was no chance of getting even an hour extra in the room so I could go to yoga and come back and change in our room. There is a facility off the pool for later checkouts but it’s crazy busy and wasn’t well maintained throughout the day.

United StatesThere was not much we did not like. The only thing I can think of is that in the Spa, the male section had a lounge with signs that said "quite room", but there was a TV there which one the guests had always turned on so that my husband had to have his quiet post-sauna experience while listening to Tucker Carlson at high volume :-( I think there should be no TV at all in a "quiet room".
While a bit pricey, this was a fantastic place to stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly, there is a great swimming pool, the restaurant had vegan options, and the scenery was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the room service was excellent. This is a great pace to relax!

United StatesThe only downside was having to go home . . . back to reality!
My husband and I drove to Scottsdale and the location of Camelback Inn is centrally located in the Valley. We stayed in a Casita and it was great to have our car outside our room and not need to valet park. The Casita offered lots of privacy and we enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the front patio. During our stay we enjoyed meals at Rita's, Lincoln Steakhouse and also poolside. The food and service at each area was outstanding and we highly recommend dining at the resort.

United StatesMy husband and I met our colleagues for a weekend getaway. My friend booked our room under her AAA discount. Little did we know what a mess this could create. When I first called the nice person helped me said no problem and took my card. The day of, I called and spoke with someone named Kim. If you can access the recording- her professionalism was very poor. I was worried, we rarely get away from our children and business to enjoy a vacation. Once we got there , we were given the wrong room ( same keys as the friend who booked us). This confusion continued all weekend. Many of our charges were mixed up. WiFi was not free, after so much paid. And unfortunately these friends who were roomed next to us ended up sick, the walls are so thin we could hear coughing all night. I will say the food at Rita’s was amazing and also by the pool. For the price we paid and what we had heard about service at JW Marriott Camelbak we were sorely disappointed and hope you can use this information to improve your services for other future clients.

United StatesWe didn’t like the “king suite”. The bathroom was small and hauling your luggage up the narrow stairs wasn’t great. One day the staff didn’t clean our room and my husband rang the front desk to ask for someone to clean our room and the person was a bit argumentative about it. Room service was a waste of money. My husband ordered a martini and me a nonalcoholic beverage and neither were acceptable. We don’t plan on going back.
The surrounding area is beautiful and the steakhouse is remarkable. The room was okay. We got the bi-level king suite and it was nothing like the pictures. The steakhouse is amazing. It was the best part of the trip and the staff there were amazing. The spa was my favorite part except for the fact that they don’t do couples massages or facials. Everything is separated by gender.
