Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI mentioned in multiple occassions that we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and that a little token (even a card acknowledging the date) would have been awesome. They didn't do anything at all. I stayed earlier that week in DC and they were way more accomodating and welcoming. I was a bit disappointing about that.

United Arab EmiratesThe acoustic insulation is not sufficient, the sound of lift machine as a train passing through the room, also the sound of the AC machine causing loud noise which caused discomfort in sleeping.
The location is next to all subway and time square. The staff are friendly.

BermudaI really liked the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and well kept. The location was perfect for our Broadway show. We asked for a room on the 8th Ave side so we could be away from the construction, which they were thankfully able to accommodate. All in all I’m glad we choose this property and I would stay there again.

United KingdomGreat rooms and staff. Fab location, excellent breakfast in beautiful setting. Hot water and lifts were hit and miss. Some more drawers for clothes would have made a big difference. Liked that there was a fridge and decent hair dryer. We brought our own kettle as there is none in the room.

United StatesThere was hair left in the bathroom & the filter hadn't been changed in a while so when we turned the heat on it was blowing weird black stuff on the sink. House keeping did change the filter, but that was still a first for me. The heat didn't seem to work well so nights were cold and if we turned it up it just felt humid in the room. The app casting on the TVs didn't work, but we didn't know until we called. So only live TV which wasn't bad.
If you've never been to NYC or are coming for shows this location is PERFECT! It's a block off times square and two blocks from radio City. Penn station is two stops downtown & the history museum is 2/3 uptown. The C/E train is a block away (feels like less). And for times square and NYC the rooms had SOOOO much room! And it wasn't loud. I slept GREAT. And our room faced the Street. I was in for my anniversary and it was SUPER sweet they did something to acknowledge it.

United StatesI can't think of anything!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our stay - a relatively short walk to Central Park, Times Square, and wonderful restaurants. The beds were really comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was STRONG but we all liked it! The happy hour on the roof top was a great value, too. Great small plates to share, decent cocktail selection.

United StatesThe room door lock was missing the inside latch to apply travel door lock, and the bathroom door was wilted from the shower no mold but it was not appealing.
The property was clean, staff was inviting and we felt secure. Barely stayed in or room but the hotel had a nice vibe and in walking distance from everything especially broadway and time square!

United KingdomThe staff weren’t very pleasant, helpful or friendly. One personal item of ours also went missing from our room, when I asked for help it was as if I was a nuisance to the staff. Property can also be loud at night, but that’s New York! Location is very good, near to subway and lots of attractions but area doesn’t reflect the standard of hotel.
Beds and room were amazing. Beds so comfortable, lots of storage in the room, bathrooms modern and clean. Lobby area lovely

United StatesThe shower head will not move down and the shower curtain is too short to close all the way so the water hits the back of the tub causing water to get all over the floor. Also, there was only 1 roll of to at a time so we had to ask for more. Had to ask for extra washcloths a few times. However, those things were immediately brought to the room when we asked for them.
Clean, the service was great, location, comfy beds.

United KingdomThe lifts were very slow and malfunctioning a lot. For a two night stay i must have spent a good hour or two just waiting for lifts. One occasion we were waiting for 20 or 30 minutes.
Location was perfect room very comfortable. Staff were pleasant and it was good to be able to grab a quick coffee before leaving in the mornings.

Australia- Lack of explanation as to hotel amenities (gym, laundry, airport transfers etc, the compendium on the TV only had information related to the hotel restaurant) - Coffee sold in the hotel lobby was extremely overpriced
- Great location (short walk to restaurants, Times Square, Rockefellar Centre, Central Park and other sites) - Modern design and comfortable rooms - Rooftop bar (great views!) and happy hour was an unexpected bonus

United StatesWe actually had a different room when we first arrived that we had to get switched - it was literally the loudest room that I've ever encountered - it was facing construction and near the staff room/elevator, and honestly, I sleep with earplugs and am generally a heavy sleeper, but there was no sleeping through this. With that being said, they switched our room to one away from all of that, no problem, and it was amazing. I think they should just not rent out that first room. This was my only reason for the 9/10.
I generally try to stay at Kimptons. They're my favorite hotel chain by far, and this one was no different (aside from that first noisy night) - super clean, great location, comfy beds, large rooms, super nice staff - really, I have no complaints.

United StatesBooked room on "high floor", when arrived at 6PM they said there is no available room on high floor, unless I am waiting minimum 1 hour. I think it's unacceptable since according the hotel I could check in anytime after 4:00PM and they also confirmed my "high floor" booking days ago. If I book a specific room, would be great to have the room I booked. Had to stand in the lobby and wait more than 5 minutes for the elevators because there was an event in the building. After a long day when I arrived to the hotel I was expecting more than the issues above. The body wash what the hotel provided in the bath is very poor quality, smells funny and I got itchy rash from it.
Great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean, modern, nice room.
