Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesShower was extremely small and challenging to shower. Sink faucet covered the sink so one has to be careful washing face and brushing teeth.
Location and price was exceptional for NY. Room for 1-person just makes the minimum grade space-wise. The bathroom was extremely small but did the job for a one night stay. Best one-night stay for the price in NY while close to all the major subway lines as well as Central Park.

This was our third stay at La Quinta. The location is unbeatable, steps away from Central Park, with a subway station close by. I've have stayed in hotels near Manhattan, but I prefer La Quinta for its lovely neighborhood and noticeably less crowded atmosphere. There are plenty of excellent eateries nearby: enjoy a slice at Two Boots Pizza (thank me later!), savor a delightful brunch at Friedman's, or treat yourself to ice cream from Van Leeuwen (they're awesome). You must visit Le Pain Quotidien in Central Park and try the French Crème Donut (located very near the hotel). The complimentary breakfast is not only very good but also a great money-saver. While the hotel and its rooms are on the smaller side, it's the ideal choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a cozy stay near Central Park without the overwhelming crowds.

United StatesThe shower conditioner container was empty; the bottom two dresser drawers wouldn’t stay closed, each sliding out 8-10”; furniture looked like scratch and dent from yard sale; the bath door has a 1/4” veneer which had separated from the bottom of the door, prohibiting closure against the door jam. All easy fixes, and minor, but for $300 / night ?!

ThailandThe female staff at 19.00 2/25/25 was blunt and unhelpful. She may do well in the kitchen.
The location was great and budget friendly. Breakfast is very good and beyond expectation. Checkout time is at 12 oclock. The male staff on my check in day (around 22.00 2/22/25) was super friendly and helpful.

United KingdomVery noisy air conditioning unit. My room was so hot in January that required the aircon to be on all the time (not very environmentally friendly). Breakfast room is too small for the number of guests.
Amazing location close to Central Park and the American Museum of Natural History. Friendly personnel at check-in desk offered to keep my luggage for the whole day while I was out, free of charge.

UkraineThe hotel needs renovation, the rooms have some broken or non-working lights, but the beds are very comfortable and you can really relax on them.
Overall the hotel is not bad, with great staff who are always responsive and ready to help if needed. The location is also good and the staff can always advise you on good places to visit.

United KingdomThe cleaners did not turn up to the room for the first two days despite requesting daily service. The lift was small and waits were long at busy times eg check-in/out times. Also, the TVs internet connection was down the entirety of our stay, meaningful in-room entertainment was very much limited. There could have been a lovely view from our window but the glass looked as though it was last cleaned many years ago, keeping up with the general feel of lacking maintenance around the hotel, which was most present when looking at peeling paint on the walls, scruffy sealing in bathrooms etc.
The executive double room was well worth the extra money for some breathing and storage space, perfect for our week long stay. The breakfast was largely good but some days the offering was too greasy, and the fruit/healthier options are limited. Still good as a complimentary offering. The location is unbeatable at this price bracket, just a few minutes walk away from many subway lines, from two different stations. As well as just across the road to central park and local bus services. The area is primarily residential and provides well received peace from busy days in bustling central Manhattan. In all, you get what you pay for and I can certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to save money on their New York accomodation.

FranceThe staff was not quite available, i tried to call during the evening to ask informations during my Stay… nobody answered. On my checkout day i asked if i could kindly leave my suitcase until the afternoon, but they proposes to leave it at the engeances without any label or safe supervision. The room was quite dusty the day of my arrival, but the room cleaning was careful and good in the following days. Breakfast quality was very low, not a lot of choice between the scrambled eggs that did not look good likewise for the bacon.
The position was excellent to go to north Manhattan, upper east, Central Park and midtown.

United StatesThe walls and paint could use a little touch up.
Room size was great - perfect view of Central Park - staff was very friendly - breakfast and breakfast staff were very good - location...you can't beat it - Remember, you're in NYC to see the city, not be locked up in a room. All you really need is a warm, comfy bed, constant hot water and good pressure, clean bathroom. Would easily stay here again.

BrazilThe bedroom is small and there is not much space to put our luggage, but the bed was comfortable and the hot shower was good. The dining room is not big, sometimes it was necessary to wait to get a place to sit. They didn't offer free water to drink and the price for a bottle was costly. So, bring your water. The lobby is very small, there are only a few seats and it's not very cozy.
Location is great, very close to Central Park, within walking distance from Target and Columbus Circle where there is a Whole Foods. Close to metro and bus stops. The breakfast was fine, it had a couple of options, such as apples, eggs, waffles, bread, muffins, yogurt...
