Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis house is located by a quite busy mini highway so if you are a noise sensitive person, this might not be an idyllic location for you.
It’s a very nice, spacious, comfortable house with a beautiful decor. It was a bit challenging to open a key box to enter the house; we managed after playing with it for a few minutes. There's a small backyard with a table, chairs, and a bench perfect for your morning coffee or afternoon nap:) The distance to the bridge crossing to New Hope town is about 1 mile; it’s a very pleasant walk on Bridge street leading to the bridge itself with picturesque views of the entire area. We had great communication with Jennifer, the guest contact. She was very accommodating with the check in and check out hours.

United StatesSlightly more information on the location of the lockbox would have been helpful. The location was not apparent, being behind and below eye level. It was only obvious once you knew where to look. Very strong mothball? insecticide? smell on the back porch. Could use some attention to cleaning the not-so-obvious places. (I dropped something which rolled under the bed—not so nice under there!) Overall though the property was well tended.
Cozy, quiet and comfortable. Good location. Useful to warn about the steepness of the stairs!

United StatesWe could not access the thermostats and it was either very warm or cold. We ended up sleeping with the windows open to compete with the heat. If we had stayed another night I would have contacted the local representative and they may have helped access the thermostat, but we didn’t give them a chance. Also, the bathroom was a bit beat up, although reasonably clean.
The bedrooms were acceptable. The television/WiFi/entertainment was great. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but otherwise the location was good.

United StatesThree major issues: 1. The steps to the bedroom floor are dangerous and urgently need a handrail to cover the whole length. This is a an accident waiting to happen and I'm very surprised that this has not been noted previously. 2. The bed itself was OK but it was encased in a plastic envelope (bed bug protection perhaps?) that made sleeping not possible for me as it could not breathe. The sheets were similarly sub standard and made of artificial materials. A rental of this type and cost should upgrade to natural materials. I ended up sleeping downstairs on the couch. 3. The location is on a main road and noisy at times. In addition the wall thermostat is not "intuitive" and seemed to have a mind of its own.
I did not like anything in particular.

United StatesThe stairs are quite steep, and could be an issue for some.
A really sweet little house right on the edge of town, easy walking distance to everything...plus a lovely little courtyard in back that's feels very private....kitchen was like brand new, and water pressure for the shower was great.

United StatesOn-street parking can be a little challenging. Stairs in the house are extremely steep and narrow; a possible hazard for people with limited mobility issues.
Quiet, comfortable, clean, well-appointed, and perfectly located to explore Lambertville and New Hope. Owner left clear instructions for checking in and out.
