Out heater didn't work but they provided a portable which warmed up the room well.

A mom and pop place, very quaint and quiet. Would love to visit during the summer.

The motel was cozy, working heater ensured we stayed nice and warm. The location is great, sequoia about 20 minutes out. The property itself is riverfront, making for great morning walks.

Would have been nice to have curtains - the blinds didn't quite shut out the light

Great comfy room not far from the entrance to Sequoia national Park. Room was clean and property was really cute.

I could not figure out how to turn on the TV and cable box with the two remotes provided and there were no instructions on how to do this in the book in our room. I also couldn't figure out how to contact the office using our room phone (read the instructions in the book in our room) but did not work so I just called from my cell.

Great location in the small town of Three Rivers. The owner Julie was super nice and helpful. Be sure to look for Turtle-the-cat sleeping in the office when we checked in (loves humans). Three dogs located on property, too but in their own yard (not roaming around the property) super friendly dogs and like to play fetch! Room was clean and cleaned daily if you want. Has all the amenities you'd need especially at this price point. Parking right in front of your unit and laundry facilities on site. Also a large field behind the property with some chairs to sky watch at night. We were there during the Geminids showers so it was a nice light show! There's a river that runs behind the property, too. I recomnend.

Can use some updated beds. They were a bit springy (almost like a trampoline ). Bathroom fan (room #16) was not working. I imagine the pool is the popular place in the summer but too cold for now. No access to EV charging.

The room has everything. Cable TV, AC (didnt need to use), modern gas fireplace, super clean room, plenty of pillows, semi-private parking (only two units per cabin). Also has some goats and sheeps in the back for city children to enjoy. Plenty of room to walk around on the property without going out on the street. Access to the river (although a bit low at this time in Dec). BBQ stoves are available too. And free wifi. Easy access to nearby eating places and market even at this time.

    It was all great!

It was so nice driving into the Lazy J Ranch driveway after coming from LA. The person at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. This location is perfect for exploring the nearby national parks. The rooms were great for pur family of 4. Jade everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Will definitely be back if we visit this area again.

When we first arrived, the female owner of the property seemed really annoyed that I called them because I couldn't open the door to the office. I was worried about my stay but the night attendant's kind and friendly service made up for it.

Excellent customer service by the night time attendant. She is also a kindergarten teacher:)

    Nothing really comes to mind.

Lazy J is a very quaint motel, in the good sense. It hearkens back to maybe the 50s or 60s in good ways. It's true the rooms are dated, but they are clean and neat and give a sense of what it would be like to travel through California back in the day. The bathroom was quite large and very nice. The outside area is grassy and shaded by large trees, and the whole experience was very homey. We really enjoyed our stay there.
