Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaLoved the location! Very convenient to walk to many of the places we wanted to see. The hotel was in a residential area so very quiet but still close to restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed the suite as it was super spacious for 3 of us.

I come to LA twice a year to see my daughter. I always stay at Mr LeParc. the room is big and beautiful and I love the balcony . The staff is incredible. Always remember my daughter and me. And make us feel so welcome. And, the best French fries we have ever eaten!

United KingdomI think the other reviews are spot on. The thing that bothered me the most was the incredibly prevalent nursing-home/hospital smell. This has got to be something to do with the cleaning products they are using, because I didn't opt for room cleaning the whole time I was there, and the smell in my room definitely improved as the days passed. But my god, I can still smell that smell over all my clothes and in my suitcase. Nothing undermines luxury quite like a weird odour. It didn't stop me from sleeping though. I would also agree with previous reviewers that the finishes on everything felt a bit worn and tired, especially in the elevators. I think if you were coming here expecting the height of luxury, you'd be disappointed, because it is a little worn round the edges, and has some slightly strange decor choices etc. However, my personal choice is that I'd rather have a hotel in an excellent location, with a nice pool and a really really generous sized room, that smells a bit odd and has a bit of wear and tear, than pay an extra $150 dollars per night for something oozing needless luxury. I hope that helps other travellers with their decisions. I for one, was thrilled with my hotel, loved the suite, adored the location, and would book again in a heartbeat, even if it's not super luxurious, it was the right hotel for me.
I was in town for the Oscars but many of the fancy West Hollywood hotels were out of my price range. Although Le Parc is still very expensive, it is comparably excellent value for LA, and that is the metric by which I judged it. Compared to what other more expensive hotels had to offer, Le Parc seemed to be an excellent choice. I loved the pool, which I used every day, and the view is spectacular. I thought the suites were fantastic, adored my balcony and my dressing room, which was a bonus that really came in handy! Best of all was the location. I couldn't believe what a perfect location the hotel was in. Walk 3 mins down the road and you're in Melrose, a lovely place to walk around with gorgeous boutiques and swanky restaurants and coffee bars. There's a Wolf And Badger Store right at the bottom of the road, if that gives you an idea as to the kind of vibe. But if you walk 10 mins up the road you're in the heart of West Hollywood and close to all the nightlife and bars and fun. ALL THIS, and it is still one of the only hotels in the area which is situated in a gorgeous quiet residential street. I was a woman travelling alone and I felt comfortable walking back here late at night. It really felt very safe. I walked everywhere from this hotel, and the routes felt quiet and tranquil without traffic roaring past like so many other hotels in LA. I agonised about where to stay, but in the end I was so pleased I stayed here.

TurkeyThere is a bad smell that you will feel from the first moment you enter the hotel. This smell can be felt both in the rooms and in the corridor, and it takes days to get used to it. The reason may be the carpets in the hotel. Also valet parking is really expensive but very safe. Apart from the smell and the valet, it is definitely a very nice hotel
The location is great, you are at the bottom of Melrose, so there are many shopping and dining opportunities. Moreover, roomsize is great for long stays.

United StatesWe had a communication problem getting the room cleaned. They charge $10+ per night for housekeeping. We wanted service on the second day, made the request in the morning but got an email saying we need to give more advanced notice. We thought we’d get serviced the next day but did not. We inquired and they said they’d fix it but didn’t we didn’t get service until the fourth day, and were leaving the next morning. I think if you have a kitchenette it should have a little silverware or a bowl. You had to order a kitchen packet and we didn’t because we thought there would be another fee. There is a door-less business office which concerned me for my zoom meeting—also the music speaker just outside of it was loud.
Excellent location and great staff that wanted to help. Loved our room and pool space. Upon arrival we needed a few things and they were done immediately—everything from getting a second robe to cleaning/fixing fridge that when opened, a bottle of water fell out and broke. Love their high-end toiletries. Great vibe.

This hotel was just perfect. The location, the room size and the staff could not fault it. They were super helpful with suggestions of things to do/places to eat in the area. We were on our honeymoon and they even gave us some strawberries and champagne. Such a gorgeous touch. Our room was huge, so great as we were travelling with large suitcases so we had plenty of room. Would stay here everytime we come to LA now.
