There is a lot of noise coming from adjoining rooms and from upstairs if you stay on the ground floor. The second floor room Carpet could also use a refresh.

Would be nice if it had a microwave, carpet needed replacing badly. Room was really a dark hole, with poor lighing, but good for sleeping.

Pool is really nice, and the restaurant, The Crocodile, is very good. We eat there every time were in Santa Barbara even if we don't stay at the Lemon Tree. Room had a really nice patio with table and chairs for playing cards or just relaxing with a drink.

The room needs some care, paint flaking off in the restroom area, and a little dirty. The small fridge had a big dent in it.

The room was large, AC was great, nice patio overlooking the pool.

The water pressure in the shower was really low .

The room was clean the bed was super comfortable as well . I will definitely be coming back . The distance to downtown was not too bad .

A little way out of the centre of Santa Barbara, but no problem with a car. Also, on a Bus route. Around the Motel there were also facilities such as supermarkets, pharmacies, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The Motel has been recently refreshed and our room was very comfortable and generous in size. Enjoyed the poolside bar and eat at the Crocodile restaurant, where the food was tasty, reasonably priced and tasty.

Called the front desk and no one ever answered, called several times and no answer.

Front staff was stressed out because the"system"/ internet was not working. Could not check in for 2 hours. Got an "emergency" key to use. It did not work. WIFI did not work. Was not offered any type of compensation for the inconvenience and lack of services.

Great grounds. Pool area well kept. Convenient location for our event at the SB Bowl. Martha and Carlos at the bar were very pleasant and professional.

The beds by the pool are significantly uncomfortable. Seems a shame given the overall experience is good. Could the hotel invest in some kind of cushions? Why are the hotel charging for parking? There are hundreds of spaces and it just seems like another way to collect money from customers.

Convenient location if travelling by car. Staff lovely. 2 queen beds - spacious and comfortable. Great balcony and great pool.

Enjoyed having the balcony on the poolside of the hotel and the entertainment at the bar on one of the evenings. Great to have a saltwater pool. Staff friendly and helpful.

Room was a little dated with peeling wall paper and slightly dirtied bathroom. Not a lot in the surrounding space.

The rooms were dated. I had an outlet that was sticking out if the wall. The pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. The carpet was old and the sheets looked unclean. Also, it’s labeled as downtown, but you’re not near downtown

Good location. Our room on the ground floor with balcony doors out on to the pool area. Comfy beds. Small couch for extra seating. The pool was a good size with a good amount of sun beds around it.

organisation could had been a little better, le abut the staff did their best to assist us.

There was a mis-understanding and we arrived late to find the room alreay given away but we were offered a free upgrade to an suite with 2 connecting rooms - leading to "Staff were very friendly and helpful." The bathroom was enormous, and the house-keeping every day was exceptional. There is a bar with the pool, which had firepits at night, which was a lovely environment to grab a drink.

Location a little far from downtown and beaches but that was not a major issue.

We loved the large and deep pool, especially our children. The restaurant was very good too, with very good food and service. The outdoors seating area was also enjoyable at night with the little fire places.

The bathroom was dirty along with the towels. The Wi-Fi was almost non-existent and this was essential to my work. Unfortunately I had to finish my work with a hotspot.

Location is fantastic and felt very safe. Very close to many stores and a short drive from the beach area.

Great place, very relaxing, quiet at night. Nice restaurant on the site and plenty of lovely neighborhood places to eat at night. Perfect for families.
