Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHair everywhere, killed multiple spiders throughout the stay, jets in Jacuzzi bath shoot out black chunks, both the bench out front and chair on the balcony where broken and dangerous
Good pricing compared to other local options and better then any hotels in the area.

United StatesOddly, there was a strong pet (cat)odor in the property even though I don't believe there were any pets in/around the property. We also found several spiders and the property was not as clean as we would have preferred... felt like some cleaning was overlooked or missed.
It is a fun property with a quirky, renaissance style. We liked that there were bathrooms in each bedroom which made it convenient when traveling with 4 girls who needed space to get ready for a wedding.

United StatesAs other reviewers point out, there are some minor issues (like door knobs) that could be fixed. It is obvious that the property has no water softener, and that is why the shower heads provide such a poor flow--they are clogged with hard water deposits. The carpets and rugs could use a good cleaning, as was evident when we opened up the door for the first time and a stagnant smell suggested that upkeep could be improved. The windows could all use a good cleaning. The yard area around the complex is in need of weeding and getting rid of wild trees that are growing. The neighborhood is fine, but it is definitely not beautiful--you are surrounded by apartment buildings and older homes, many of which are a bit run down. We did not ever feel like the area was unsafe, however. It is just busy. None of these neighborhood issues negatively affected our stay, as we spent little time outside. But the complex sits directly on a somewhat busy road, and the road noise was occasionally a bit pronounced (cars without good mufflers) when we were trying to sleep (earplugs did the trick). Overall, our children still enjoyed the place quite a bit, and we adults loved the ample space as compared to a cramped hotel room. Our high score reflects our overall satisfaction, although we hope that the management company will do more to keep up the property in the future (hence the detail provided here).
This is a very beautiful property, in terms of the interior. The exterior is also designed to give the vibe of a Shakespearean era cottage/manor. It is nicely appointed and quite comfortable. It was not cheaply built--the trim and components are often high in quality (although the dishwasher and fridge were quite basic). The amount of space was splendid in terms of the price we paid per night (one of the primary reasons for our high rating). The kitchen was fairly well supplied with everything you need. The beds were comfortable. All of the electronics and WiFi worked well, and there is lots of space in two of the three bathrooms (huge tubs plus a shower). Three baths and three bedrooms is a great ratio! There are two full-size beds in one bedroom, a king-size bed in the master bedroom, and a queen-size bedroom on the main level. We were told that the couch near the front door was also a hide-a-bed, even though we did not use it. So, you could feasibly have 10 people sleep in beds here. They should tell you in advance that the hot water is on-demand, so the first time you use it it takes a few minutes to get flowing (we found this out when we called the person who gave us the front-door code).

United StatesNeeds, some minor maintenance. Toilets need the seals replaced (constantly run), towel racks were loose and the shower heads need to be cleaned out (hard water). For under $500 in maintenance, the place could shine.
Over all a great value.

United StatesThe property was clean but not spotless which is not the fault of the owner but of the cleaning service that cleaned it last
This property is gorgeous and I highly recommend it. The location is also very beautiful and there are many things to do there.

United StatesIt had not been properly cleaned. There is a grimy/dusty film on most flat surfaces/ledges (tops of everything including kitchen backsplash, cabinets, headboards, door frames, lamps, pictures, tv’s, etc). Oven wasn’t clean. Cast iron skillet was completely rusted. Pots were not in great condition and I eventually found some lids in a separate drawer. Food and drinks were left in the refrigerator and cabinets. Yuck! Oven handle had fresh cooking oil on it. Because of the condition, I ended up not cooking anything in the kitchen. Bathtub wasn’t clean and had hair in the bottom. Several things are in need of repair or replacement (front door, refrigerator door, microwave door, pantry door, dishwasher soap dispenser). Maintenance is not being done. Front yard area is completely overrun with weeds. Evolve said to work with the guest contact on issues. Guest contact said to contact Evolve. Worst communication I’ve experienced on an Airbnb rental.
Nice floor plan. I liked that there was a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. Beautiful wood stairs and flooring upstairs. It was conveniently located to my 3 day event.

United StatesShower heads need to be replaced on the master bedroom. I couldn't shower because it was uncomfortable with the high pressure it was creating. The good thing it also had a bath tub jacuzzi which I decided to use instead so it wasn't really a big deal with the showers. I would still definitely be back here.
The architect and decorations are beautiful. Very spacious and it felt like you were in a 18th century mansion.
