The location was perfectly situated between the French Quarter and Frenchman Street. It had a great sense of community with optional activities in the evenings. Beautiful back patio/garden and other communal spaces to gather with fellow travelers. Would definitely choose again!

The location was great, it's a short walk to the French quarter and clearly marked on the outside. The staff were so lovely and incredibly helpful. The hostel also puts on event nights for the guests which were a lot of fun. I stayed in the mixed dorm where there were also small lockers for extra storage but there was plenty of space to have my luggage next to my bed.

Despite a spontaneous travel change, the staff did everything they could to offer me accommodation earlier. Everything in this hostel really felt familiar. I had a really perfect vacation.

I wasn't too fond of the little bathroom in the lower level - it was doable for those little emergencies though.

Although I travel with my own WiFi capabilities, the other guess mentioned that it was a bit loopy. I would suggest others to bring their own as a backup. Wind may have been a factor. I'm not sure, although, I wasn't affected I have no real idea. Thank you for asking.

Location is top, next to the French Quarter. Room is beautiful, only girls. They cooked diner often, free of charge. The garden is like from fairy tail :) Beautiful kitchen ... Very helpful and generous stuff, there is fantastic energy :) You can meet cool people there also ... Madame Isabelle's House is truly one of a kind! Feeling so peacefully and grateful there! The best accommodation in the world, nothing compares to it :))

Winston at the front desk was super cool upon reception. The staff were all kind when walking around the different areas. The property was in an accessible location for all the action.

Lady I met in the dorm, and sweet cat Maui…!!! I do rly appreciate those every encounters I had in this property, thank you so much. It was cozy place with rooms and shared space and the beautiful yard. And the breakfast was great, always had some bagel and eggs&cheese.

The location is one block to 3-buses going downtown and Walmart Store. They provide breakfast everyday and social dinner of different countries menu every night except Monday. Yhere is a Hot Tub, but I never used it because of the set of guests I see in and out of the tub. I will definitely recommend the Hostel to anyone visiting New Orleans, because, Madam Isabelle Histel is a 5-Star 🌟.

Everything went great! The house is really cute, breakfast was good, the place was clean, the location was very nice everything was in walkable distance. The staff was adorable, and so were the cats!

The accommodations were comfortable and the staff was amazing! Small breakfast provided as well as a group Christmas dinner. It was perfect for my first time in New orleans and I will definitely be back!

I felt so welcomed. Everyone there was incredibly nice and I loved their offers when it came to evening activities like getting to eat a delicious chili or a games evening (where I sadly couldn’t join). All in all I had an amazing time!!

Absolutely perfect- everything and everyone is totally geared towards making you have as much fun as possible. The hot tub’s awesome, breakfast’s fine and on a snowy day the owner made Korean BBQ to cheer us all up. Definite recommend for a New Orleans trip

The place is exceptional for solo travellers willing to meet new people. This may sound like a corny cliche but it really does feel like a family, and the place feels like a big old house where they're all living together. The staff are just like fellow guests, joining into all the fun. Very sociable and charming place.
