Location and people staying there at the time were scary. We had our door locked and someone barged in with their own working key card!! We had just gotten out of the shower! Then had to get our cards rekeyed!! The photos on the website make you believe this is a clean comfortable place but it isnt! The walls were dirty and the linens!

When we first walked in, the room was so hot because nobody turned the AC on. The bed was uncomfortable and the lights in the room didn’t work and the tv remote didn’t work

Not very clean and nothing at all like the pictures. Looks like more of a local live in hotel with to many sketchy looking people just hanging outside. Then when I informed them we wouldn’t be staying the whole three days because it was unsatisfactory but I didn’t mind paying for the night we stayed. The guy at the desk says if his manager decides to refund me that’s the only way I’ll get my money back. Mind you he says he has no way of contacting his manager so I politely left and called my financial institution and handled it myself. Don’t stay here unless you absolutely have no choice.

Smelled so bad. Gross everything. Several flies in the room that were already in there when we entered. Floor is falling apart and coming off the ground almost makes you trip. I do not understand how booking has this place listed as 4 stars. Shopping carts by the dumpster. I think this place is used like a rehab or homeless shelter

The room that I was in was not clean. It's smelt of smoke. It was missing a smoke detector the internet never worked. The TV didn't work and did not have an ice tray or cups or any of the amenities. Also, the continental breakfast was very poor to say the least, and there was trash literally everywhere, around the facility, very nasty. Very unclean

We asked for a room with a view and our room looked over the trash pile. They were not full. When I sat down on the bed a roach fell to the ground. The shower/bath drain had an old bandaid in it. We went so we could tan by the pool. The photos showed a pool with lounge chairs and big pool. It wasn’t. The pool area was dirty - cigarette butts, trash hadn’t been emptied. We tried sitting out at the pool and got in once. We decided to leave the pool in part because there were 20 (literally) in the pool. The pool area and the hotel were not clean around the edges. Beer cans, trash, lots of cigarette butts, cigar butts. The whole place needed to be swept. I went down to the pool on Monday to tan ;try again) and just as was putting my stuff down a man comes and tells me he is cleaning the pool! I try to suntan anyway but it was super hot and decided to go back to the room. My husband and I both tried to get in our room about 10:20 am. They had turned off our key cards! My husband had to back downstairs in the heat to the office to find out why our keys weren’t working. Check out was at 11 am and we had requested and approved for a late checkout. The front desk guy says “Oh sorry” and changes the card key. He then has to walk all the way back in the heat to let us in to pack and leave. I am 65 and husband 67. Too much to deal with and the sun was blazing as we tried walking around to the pool and back and having to go get the key card. If it was just me to have to go down to the office and back again, I’m not sure I could have made it.

The microwave and fridge was dirty. The people next door were so loud the walls were thin. I think they might be having a party. Called front desk, no one picked up the phone. Couldn’t sleep till 3am

Putrid smell in room. As an hvac technician, I blame the ac unit that needs to be serviced, have the coils cleaned. The room interior was decent but the doors and mirrors have had better days. The breakfast dining area was discouraging to eat in, needed a good cleaning and the air conditioning was out, and a very limited breakfast was being served just waffles and breakfast drinks I was told the food delivery truck had not arrived.

The place has been taking over by druggies and roaches, found needles in the parking lot. This used to be our favorite stop on our trips to East Texas. Sad day for Tyler.

The first night was not good the first room, but the room was good, but the atmosphere was not. We had a guy sleeping right out in front of our room and a motel smoking weed. Another guy was walking up and down now one guy walked by and put snot all over our window, we told the management they gave us another room which was very pleasant and very nice location right in front of the pool. The kids could swim when we could see them so it was nice.

Well, the first day of breakfast is on time the second day there was no breakfast till probably eight or nine so we just left and went to McDonald’s
