Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere was an odd stain on the top comforter but we removed it anyways. When we came back from being out for the day, housekeeping had taken it,
Location was everything, less than 15 minutes from Silver Beach. Overall room was clean and in good condition. Shower water pressure and temp were excellent. The restaurant is quite convenient. We walked to a coffee shop/bakery across the road that was delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating but left us be. Small fridge, microwave, and toaster in room were a plus! Loved the room key tag, only wished I could have bought one for a souvenir. :)

United StatesThe wall A/C is very loud.
I was plesantly surprised at how the room was clean and well maintained. It is obvious that rooms have been updated recently. All the compliments to the owner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try their food, but based on a good smell of the grill and number of the guests in the restaurant, I would say food is great!

United StatesCost. Listed as “inn and suites”. It’s an old motel with an attached restaurant. Not worth cost. Could have went to a chain hotel for half the cost with a free breakfast included.

United StatesI couldn't control the thermostat. I'm a warm sleeper and it got a little toasty in there. My girlfriend was happy as can be though so it balanced out. There was no screen on the window but in the winter that isn't a big deal. When I visit again in the summer and want to open the window I hope there is a screen to keep the bugs out.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very cozy and quiet. The room was clean and warm. Having the restaurant and bar next door was a huge bonus. The food and service was great also. The coffee maker and little fridge were a nice touch. Wolfgang puck coffee is good and the soap provided smelled great. Small amenities are important.

United StatesThis place is cute, clean, and family owned. We were not sure what to expect from a roadside motel, and I can say we were pleasantly surprised. We were checked in by the owner, and the room was clean, bed comfy, it even had a fridge and microwave!

United StatesWindows that open so that a cross breeze of air could get in. Room was stuffy and required continually running the air conditioner and dehumidifier to keep a decent temp. Beds were also a little soft.
Convenient, quiet, adequate. Very clean, nice pillows, easy phone charger on the night stand. Able to do a late check-in.

United StatesThe only downside is the lack of a reception area. We arrived late afternoon on a Friday night. We entered the bar/grill area and told the staff at the restaurant that we wanted to check into our room. We had to wait around 15 minutes for someone to arrive to give us the key to our room. If we arrived when the restaurant wasn’t open, I don’t know what our options would be. When we checked out, we didn’t know who to see, but simply left our key in the room.
The room was outstanding---just like previous reviews indicated. Price was reasonable, and the added benefit of the adjacent Mark III bar/grill (fresh, nicely prepared food for dinner) was a perk. Note that breakfast isn’t provided, but we enjoyed a great breakfast at Joe’s Café a short distance away from the inn. We will definitely return.

United StatesAfter a previous place we tried to stay was untolerable we scrambled to find a place to stay on a holiday weekend. We booked a room but later found out that they were full. They made accomodations for us in a small apartment that was very comfortable. Thankful for the way they went out of their way to help our situation.

United StatesThe bed was a bit soft for my liking, but the room was clean and we got a good rate.
This is a 10 room roadside motel. I wasn't expecting much, but the room was recently renovated inside (not exactly sure how long ago). The manager/owner? was accomodating as our Booking confirmation never made it to him, but he had a room open for us anyway. Close to downtown St. Joes, but will certainly need a car to get there.

United StatesThe parking lot is a little weird in regards to parking some lines are at an angle and some are straight so it leads to interesting parking jobs. Also the sidewalks are narrow and they have the plastic lawn chairs out so your having to step around them and then having to dodge tree branch’s at the same time
The property was well maintained and clean the restaurant had great food and it was quiet. Also your 10 minutes to St. Joe

United StatesAbsolutely nothing. Poorly run. Bad management and rude staff. All that and we didn't even see the place! No one would have been at the Inn to check us in so I really hope this helps others to avoid this at all costs.
We never made it to the Mark III Inn. I called the Inn on our way there to make sure our reservations were still confirmed. No one answered the phone. Then it went to voicemail and said the in box was full! This Inn is attached to a restaurant owned by the same individual. No one answered the phone at 4:50 p.m. which was odd. I called back a little later and someone finally answered. She said the owner wasn't there just yet so if I could wait an hour or so? We were 15 minutes from the Inn! I told her no, we were very close and had no where else to go. She said she'd give me another number to call. I could barely hear her and asked her to please repeat the number upon which she hung up on me. So I would definitely NOT recommend this Inn to anyone unless they like playing games with the owner and adjoining restaurant. Too many red flags going off!
