Kitchen service was slow and made mistakes in every meal. They also ran out of stuff that was on the menu and the wait staff seemed not to know the status on two separate occasions.

So much to do without leaving the space.

I loved the old school charm, into modern comfort and entertainment. Such as soaking pool and movie theater. The different drinking areas were great too. Staff was exceptional

It was a bit chilly at times, but I imagine it's difficult to keep the space warm. Toward the end of my stay, the smoke detector was beeping, hopefully they replaced the battery.

I had a wonderful stay at the Kennedy School. It's such a unique space, and the staff members were incredibly kind. I enjoyed meandering the hallways, which were full of quirky art and interesting lighting fixtures. Also a lot of history. Clearly care and attention to detail went into it.

One thing was that in the shower, the steam revealed markings of a past guest’s drawings on the shower door. Thankfully they were cute drawings but it was weird to see them showering.

I loved the location. How our hotel was separated from the School. I enjoyed the little walk outside into the building. I LOVED our room! It was so beautiful. The art is so beautiful. The headboard of the bed was breathtaking. I love the style Mcmenamins has.

I loved the location here. Walked to Alberta each night and still had a place to hang out when I got back with the on site bar. It was pretty close to a few other neighborhoods that were very walkable as well. I didnt spend any time downtown, so I can't speak to accessibility there, but super convenient to get to the airport as well. Check in was a breeze and the decor is so so cool. I love the adapted use and the amenities are great. The gardens outside were beautiful. They were also able to hold my bags when I was checking out until I could make my way to my next destination 11/10, will definitely stay again!

A great location & beautiful stay! Kennedy School has a great history & you're able to explore it via the murals & yearbook pictures that are maintained in the halls. The Courtyard Restaurant was charming & the Boiler Room bar was funky & fun. We'll definitely stay again!

I loved how they converted this school into a hotel but still kept its school charm and bones. I wish I was there for longer than one night so I could explore the other restaurants, movies in the theater and sitting in the courtyard/pool.

The location was perfect with lots or restaurants and bars in walking distance. The hotel was beautifully decorated and so interesting to check out all the details and art. All the bars and restaurants were amazing and open late too! I forgot my favorite hat in the room and the wonderful staff is mailing it back to me with no charge even. Terrific experience!

If you're looking for a minibar, microwave, or flat screen TV, this is not the hotel for you. Some rooms have windows facing a busy road.

Whimsical, funky hotel full of art with unique rooms with chalkboards, fun on-site bars and restaurants, and a very nice saltwater soaking tub. Staying at the Kennedy School feels like a very Portland experience.
