The house has a lot of potential but the owners have definitely neglected the home. When we got there, the code we were given did not work at all and we tried several times. Luckily the back door was open and that's how we got in. The pool area and pool did not have lights nor did it have a heated pool. The house could have been way cleaner. We had to wash all towels and bed sheets before using because they were not clean at all. Garage door did not open at all. Bathrooms were not clean either. One of the toilets needs replacement because it had a very bad odor of urine and dirtiness. One of the bathrooms was clogged we had to try to unclog it ourselves but the water still rose as we showered. House needs serious maintenance.

Coffee pot was poor. Get a real K-Cup machine or drip pot. Towels old and some quite stained/torn edges. Water/ice in refrigerator weren’t working. Stained bench cushion at dining table.

We chose the home over a hotel in hopes to use the grill and kitchen to cut back on eating out however the grill was not clean and much of the kitchen utensils, pots and pans presented rust or were not clean, to our standard at least. The pool area hadn't been cleaned prior to the stay either. We also didn't care much that the master bedroom was not connected to a bathroom however a room with 2 full or queens had a full bathroom. It was just kind of set up awkwardly. There are no wash cloths or an iron so be sure to pack those items if you require them when traveling. Everything else was great!

Perfect location, was quiet with cordial neighbors. Pool was heated and loved the idea that the home is on a canal. The yard is well manicured and beautiful also!

The actual pool area was very dirty. The pool furniture was old and needs replacing. Only one usable sun lounger.

Good size villa for 2 couples. The actual pool itself was lovely and clean but not sure it was heated as advertised. Lovely garden. Inside was comfortable.

The owners scheduled their lanai screen repair during our stay, making it impossible to use the pool for two days. In future, I recommend doing any renovations when no guests are present.

Noise from the pools cleaning system 24/7 and the floor should be cleaner. I missed also more bowls and sauce pan in the kitchen.

Similar to an airbnb with a lot of instructions for check out, even though they charge a higher than usual cleaning fee.

Great place for a getaway, convenient check in and check out. Very responsive staff. They allow dogs for a fee. The pool is wonderful

The house really needs to be cleaned a lot better. The pool was super cold, none of us got completely in. A couple different people showed up to the property while we stayed.

I like that it was big enough for my whole group and for the most part it was really cute. The communication was superb. Nice and quiet neighborhood.

There was an issue with the TV and one of the showers. The house manager promised to fix it. So there shouldn't be a problem for future stays. The air conditioning system takes a little bit of time to adapt to the desired temperature. It would be reasonable to install some dark curtains in the room with the ensuite bathroom, or the sun shines through the roller blinds when the sun rises.

Good communication with the house manager, he's always available if you have any questions or inquiries. We spontaneously extended our stay and we didn't regret it. The house is located in a calm and peaceful neighborhood and it's well-equipped, you will find everything you need. The big kitchen provides you with all the basic daily ingredients and even more. One of the highlights is the pool area. The pool is heated and you will find a lot of toys and gadgets to entertain yourself there all day. You can enjoy the sunset on the patio with a view of the canal. It's even possible to fish, the equipment including bait is provided. We enjoyed our stay to the best. Thank you for hosting us.

The only issue we encountered was the temperature when we arrived. I think the guests who stayed before us had turned off the AC and it was pretty warm when we got there, even though the AC had been turned back on. We were worried it wasn't working. The hosts were super kind and responsive and the issue actually resolved itself by morning. We had a great time!

This home is a great value. Great location, plenty of space for our family of four, close to great restaurants and the beach. The heated pool was a huge hit with all of us.

Television in master bedroom was not working. Place was very basic. Needs a lot of work. Definitely needs upgrades. Knifes in kitchen were rusted No wash cloths! had to go out and buy some. Then they brought some the next day after we complained.

I hate giving bad feedback. I usually just dont give. But in this case it was so bad that I feel compelled to save others from this place. We were very disappointed. 3 days before we were supposed to arrive I called the owner, we spoke twice and I asked to receive the check in instructions by email like all other places do. I also spoke with her house manager and he said they will send. There was no issue to reach them then. We didn't get anything. On the day of arrival, I called the owner and told her we didn't get anything and she said she is talking to the house manager and that we will get the instructions on how to check in. From that moment on I was not able to reach them both on the phone at all. All the calls went in vm. We started to get worried as we didn't know anything about how to reach the house and enter. 3min to check in time I get a phone call from the house manager giving me the code to the house and that's it. We got into the house and there were many issues and no way to reach them both although i called several times. ( btw on the same day we spoke with over 10 service providers from the area and didn't have any issues reaching them by phone, dolphin tours, boat rentals etc.. ). We lost our trust with the lack of communication. It's a shame it seems they don't care about their visitors: 1- There was a noise from the pool that did not stop all the time of our stay. Which is why sleeping in 2 of the 3 rooms is very uncomfortable. 2- The shower in the ensuite did not have hot water all our stay and it was very hard to turn the shower on only from one side. 3. The bathtub gets clogged up and can take even 30min to empty. 4. The linen was stained. You can see the pictures of how we got our rooms attached. 5. There wasn't even a garbage bag in the bin. 6. The main tv remote control doesn't work, if you want to press on the right button. 7.

Marco island and the area are great for a family vacation. Lots of things to do with the family in the area.

Very neglected property. Air condition didn’t work properly or efficiently. Dangerous rotted boat dock. Broken and out dated windows. Leaking front door when it stormed, broken screen door at pool , several electrical outlets non functional, obnoxious property manager. Gas grill broken, but a new one was brought to property. shower lever in back bedroom shower had issues, pool deck moldy and rusty. Front door wasn’t operating properly especially trying to open and lock with the key. Sliding glass doors to pool are very wobbly and outdated. Basically this would have been an amazing stay if it weren’t for so many neglected and non functional issues with the home. The property manager was the final straw. We will never stay at this location again.

Beautiful neighborhood, great scenery . I missed going to breakfast with my family because I had to stay behind and let a AC technician in the house at 9:00am
