We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room; what a beautiful, elegant room. The breakfast was delicious, cooked perfectly. The staff was so polite and friendly. The staff is what makes this hotel exceptional. This is my new hotel to stay in when I visit DC.

Parking cost of $44 buck a night is a bit ridiculous! If I’m paying $200 plus a night, parking should be included. We were mislead on the distance to the Tidal Basin. It was advertised at 0.5 miles, so we thought we could walk it when in all reality it wasn’t. We had to catch the bus to get there. In two days we walked almost 20 miles!

We loved most everything about this place. Easy catch for the Metro. The front desk and staff were very nice.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. The manager, Mohammad Taha, went over and above to help us with a minor issue- he was so gracious and the hospitality could not be beat. . The hotel was very comfortable and close to many attractions and restaurants.

The noise from the little fridge in the room is too loud at night. Also I can clearly hear the noise from the next door flushing their toilet. Noise proof needs to be improved.

Door men have all been very nice. It's great to have bottles of water and paper slippers on arrival, though I have encountered some difficulties one night when trying to get replacement slippers from the front desk because mine got wet after the shower.

Lack off coffee maker in my room.

Everything was great, except the lack of a coffee maker in the room. It is kind of a norm these days to have coffee first thing in the morning. It is a small thing, compared to everything else you do to make this place special. I hope to be back soon, and when I do, I hope the coffee maker will be in my room.

At times, the water in the bathroom took a long time to heat up.

At first we booked 2 nights, but we ended up staying an additional 2, as there is so much to see in DC. Great location for our needs. Comfy, clean room.

The staff was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable. Nice toiletries, and robes available for use in the room. Nice touches like water bottles in our room and coffee in the lobby. Close to many shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions we wanted to visit.

It took a really long time for the water in the bathroom to get hot.

The room was clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice towels and toiletries. The location was close to things we wanted to see. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby and metro was a few blocks away. We were provided with bottled water, and coffee was available in the lobby in the morning.

One of our window shades was nonfunctional (closed) and another was worn.

Location was excellent for our purposes. We ate most of our meals at the hotel and were satisfied with the food quality. The queen bed was comfortable and appropriate for the smaller room size. The shower was a high point: plentiful warm water cascading over your body with no shower stall leakage (this trip included 8 other accommodations for comparison). The neighborhood is relatively quiet and upscale.

There wasn’t much to dislike. The only issue we had was on the first night when the shower took almost 10 minutes to get hot, and then the water kept turning cold. It was a bit annoying, but thankfully, it didn’t happen on the following days. I would also recommend that they check their TVs, as ours was very dark with no option to adjust the brightness. Aside from these small issues, we had no major complaints.

My girlfriend and I were warmly welcomed by the staff on the night we arrived. Our room was very comfortable, especially the bed, which was lovely. They offered coffee and hot apple cider in the lobby, which was a nice touch. The hotel is in a good location and provides easy access to downtown.

It was a treat to stay in this warm, gracious, intimate inn. The lobby with its lovely decor is very relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but well appointed with a very comfortable bed. We had a view of the park across the street. The location was great and the room rates are reasonable. We would definitely stay at the Morrison Clark Inn again. We loved our stay.
