Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesGreat amenities, European style with Italian shower and comforter. Free cocktail drink, great bar and outside patio. I forgot my war plugs but there was no need for it, it was all very quiet!

EstoniaWeird thin blanket. Dark colours, feels like being in eternal blackness. Room furniture was pretty basic, the sink in the entrance gives a prison cell vibe and no desk or similar surface in the room. A bit dark even with all the lights on.
Good location for being near university buildings. Lots of cool thrift stores nearby. Nice that they have a taco counter in the lobby, could grab a bite at night and in the morning. Very clean and things feel pretty new.

CanadaThis isn't really the hotels fault but we are canadian, and with the exchange the room ended up being $500 a night. It was a lot to spend. Again not really the hotels fault i get that. It's not really made for working in your room, the desk is small and the chair isn't really comfortable. However it's a small complaint. Overall It was an excellent experience.
The staff were great! Especially Kemp and Jennifer at the bar. We came back from 6th and I had rolled my ankle and they got right on getting me a bag of ice for my ankle. Everyone was really friendly and it was excellent.

United StatesThis particular stay was wonderful! Thank you for taking care of my feedback from a previous visit. The improvements were very much appreciated! Only dislike was the cost of parking fee - a bit high in my opinion.
Likes: A very warm welcome, informative and easy check-in upon arrival. Very comfortable bed! Room was upgraded at a very reasonable rate - I had plenty of space since I was traveling solo. Room was very clean. Great location - close to my daughter’s college apartment. Utilizing their parking garage was easy and convenient.

United StatesSo the only issue I had was there was no microwave in the room. And I eat mostly just microwaved Oh, they don't bother me, personally, but I understand homeless can make some people uncomfortable. They didn't hang out around Moxy, but they are in the surrounding area, just like most cities. But there's also mostly just UT students walking around. I never felt unsafe, and I'm a generally anxious person.
Absolutely everything. The staff are so just perfect. They offered recommendations on what to do in the area. They gave me tips about living in the city. This was deeper than Southern Hospitality. I have been going through very hard times--understatement--and, it felt all the more beautiful and amazing and really was just a great advertisement for humanity, itself. Warm and welcoming, maybe more than I have ever experienced in my entire life, which is kind of sad, but also it felt so good, after having felt like everyone in the world hates me. The room on the 5th floor has a gorgeous city view on the drag side (Guadalupe Street). Simply excellent. The ambiance of the hotel is so comfortable. The decorations make you stop and stare. I didn't indulge in the tacos or music or events or mingle too much, but if you want a place to meet people and have some fun times, the lobby area was amazing as well. It's there if you want it, and if not, you don't have to bother with it.

United KingdomOnly issue was some nights there was noise from local bars but didn’t disturb me enough to bother too much.
Room was spacious, clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the bar was lively with a more chilled outdoor area with social games. Location had lots of places to eat, drink and shop within walking distance although a bit further to get to downtown Austin.

United StatesI wish their was another trash can in the room as well as a mirror. The way the bathroom is laid out if someone your traveling with is in the shower and you want to give them privacy, because at the moxy there showers are separate from the toilet and sink, and their shower is fogged glass so you’ll want to use the shower curtain for maximum privacy which blocks the room in half, so you don’t have access to the bathroom, sink or mirrors. All that being said I wish there was another mirror on the other side of the room so that if mult people are getting ready you can use the mirror without crossing into the bathroom area while someone else is showering because you’d be able to see them in the shower. There are a few homeless people outside on the benches but mostly across the street at the 7-11. They did not my other us at all, and we walked a good bit, just part of being in a large city. However when we would come back late at night the staff would stare at us, probably wondering if we were really staying there or not, seems like a simple fix of just using your room key to have access to the building after a certain time, they had the capability to do it, but it wasn’t in use for some reason.
The common area and the rooms were very nice. I went there for ACL with some friends. The location close to campus was nice, there is a food truck park a block over on 26th that has great food and is open late as well as the food inside the hotel at Zombie Taco. The hotel was clean, modern and a good price.

United StatesIt would have been nice to have lotion and a coffee maker in the room, but given the streamlined approach and style, I understand why the coffee maker was absent. Nothing else comes to mind about dislikes.
The ambience and vibe of the hotel is very fun and inviting. They had decorated for Halloween during our stay and really went all out. It was super cool! The room was comfortable and amenable if minimalist. The common areas downstairs are very comfy and open with plenty of seating options inside or out. The bar and Zombie Taco in the lobby make it easy for a quick bite or sip.
