Temperature control of the room was difficult to maintain. I did not notify the desk during our stay.

Amenities in the room are lacking. Like, I missed having a little emergency kit with a shower cap at least. There’s no drawers to put your clothes, it’s very simplistic. Bed, sink, toilet and shower.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Restaurant sells good food. Very budget friendly and staff are so considerate.

I could not for the life of me turn the tv off... i dont know if the remote was missing or if it was some kind of a marketing tactic to dream of Moxy hotels while asleep... The bed was also unmade when we arrived at 10 pm, and there was a stain which sort of set me off first impression wise.

The atmosphere of the hotel was amazing, staff was kind and willing to help. Things I liked in the room: city view, hanging chair, fabulous bathroom. I enjoyed the 25 dollar voucher, and the pistachio croissants were amazingggg.

one thing to be aware of is the immediate area around the hotel. While it's conveniently located in Lower Manhattan, the street outside felt quite dark and a little isolated, especially at night. It didn’t feel unsafe exactly, but it was noticeably less lively than I expected for such a central location. A bit more lighting or visible security outside would definitely make guests feel more comfortable when coming and going after dark. That said, once you're inside, the experience is fantastic. Just something to keep in mind if you're arriving late or planning to explore the area on foot at night.

The vibe is modern, energetic, and effortlessly cool. The design is sleek and stylish, with lots of fun details that give the place a unique personality. It’s perfect for anyone who wants something a little more playful than your average hotel. The staff were super friendly and welcoming—check-in was quick and easy. My room was spotless, well-designed, and made excellent use of space. The bed was super comfy, and I loved the views of the city. The common areas are a total highlight. The lounge/bar area had such a fun atmosphere, and it’s a great spot to hang out, grab a drink, or even play a game or two. It felt like a social hub more than just a place to sleep. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—right in the heart of downtown Manhattan, with easy access to subway lines, great restaurants, and iconic sights. Whether you're here for business or a city adventure, Moxy is a fantastic base. Can’t recommend it enough—fun, affordable, and full of character. I’ll definitely be back!

We were in need of an iron but they didn’t bring it until next day, which was the day that we were leaving. Also I think the check in was pretty delayed and the attitude of the first receptionist wasn’t the best, she could not answer our questions about the ferry tour telling us that she will give us a call to contact the person to reserve the tour and that never happened during our whole stay. The other staff where pretty welcoming which I appreciate!

I like that the breakfast was included and that you could pick a meal and a drink from the menu. That was amazing that it give you options for breakfast. Also they told us in the reception that we have free bike rent as well as a ferry tour included! That was certainly extra points in our visit!

We didn't have hot water on 2 occasions. However, it was rectified by an attentive maintenance man who did his best, alongside reimbursement of one night stay and ten eventually a different room Discreet hotel charges and 'hotel credit' that isnt clear when booking. Attempts to contact the hotel through email were never answered

Our only issue was that the shower drain was a bit clogged, so water would take a really long time to drain out. You'd be standing in a pool of water and it wouldn't drain until 10-15min later.

The room was cozy and had everything we'd need for a short stay. It was a bit tight, but the flip-up table was really useful for giving just enough space for us to use. The view was great with the option to bring down the shades at any time. Facilities were clean with just the right amount of fun decor.

The room was small, there were no Bluetooth capabilities in the tv. The room didn't get as cold as I would have liked it to as well. Also my items fell behind the headboard and when I went to get it. It was filthy behind there.

The room was on the small side, however it was comfortable and the view was lovely. There was a little swing chair in the room that I enjoyed sitting on. The bathroom was also nice as well.

I really loved Moxy for its mood and kindness of the people working there. Receptionist Cathy was so kind and the same for her manager. The room is big and comfortable for NY standards, the same for the bathroom. I'll be back for sure.

Housekeeping services are provided upon request and there is a 25$ extra charge per day could be used at the bar of the restaurant. The fee was not made clear upon booking, and you were forced to use it at their restaurant the same day or you would lose it. This should have been mentioned somewhere.

Central location, near Fulton Subway station, quite small but modern rooms. Overall, it was good, but not the best.

In fact, this hotel has become my first choice every time I visit New York for several reasons. The hotel is beautiful and clean, and its atmosphere is youthful and fun. The staff are very wonderful and keen on the comfort of the guests. The area is far from Times Square, but it has everything you need. Downtown is a beautiful, clean, tidy and wonderful area. The metro station is next to the hotel, in addition to many restaurants and cafes, and of course the World Trade Center.

When we arrived it turned out that we need to pay additional money by night spent in the hotel although there was no information about it when I was booking the stay. Also, the check-out in this hotel was supposed to be at 11:00AM and our room cards stopped working from 10:00AM so after we came back from breakfast we couldn’t get to our room to take our backpacks. Moreover, there was no warm water in the sink on the day of our check-out.

The property was situated very close to the places we wanted to visit in NYC and we really liked the walking distance to World Trade Center, Wall Street and Brooklyn Bridge. The room was clean and comfortable.
