Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe layout was a bit funky. The bathroom didn't have a sink, the kitchen sink was the only sink. This didn't bother us, but it may some people. The beds were comfortable if we each stayed in one bed. I was going to rate this motel extremely high until morning. It was 9:00 (which, clearly is very late for some, but my husband had waken during the night and was still sound asleep. Our car was right outside the room. The curtains were closed. We didn't have the "do not disturb" sign out because we were both still sleeping. There was a LOUD knocking at the door. (It sounded like a metalic rapping). And a yell of something (we couldn't understand what she said.) Another LOUD rap at the door. It woke us out of sound sleep. I'm sure it was the housekeeping. We will probably be back, but we will put the "Do not disturb" on the door before we go to bed at night next time. This was VERY off putting.
We really liked this place. It exceeded our expectations. Great location. Friendly check in. VERY clean. Full kitchen. Incredible value..

United StatesThere weren't any tissues in my room when I checked in. I wasn't sure if they provided them until day 2 when I asked. Should've asked sooner. A very small ding. The remote control for the TV in the living room had a broken button so finding a particular station (with a 3) was tricky. As mentioned, the water is too hard.
The price was fantastic and the room was way better than I would've thought for a motel. The grounds were well kept and the property has a lot of fun things to do: gas fire pit, shuffleboard, pool, and corn hole! Loved the fridge and microwave with counter space. The only knock is the water is VERY hard, but that's not a fault of Nader's. Great place to stay!

United StatesOur room was not cleaned on day 2 or 3. Not a deal-breaker by any means. Just unexpected. We had no trouble getting clean towels or supplies upon request.
The property and grounds were well-kept. Upon arrival, we found the junior suite to be clean and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed having a separate living area and balcony. Also a good location for visiting the sights around the area.

United StatesVery well kept older property. Good sized rooms - rather "cozy" bathroom. Patio right outside room, with chairs and grills for each room are a nice touch. I saw a number of other quests taking advantage of being able to cook-out near their rooms.

United StatesThe sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but that is usually the case and not the motels fault. I would bring an air mattress if I had the need. We went to get ice and the machine was empty. We saw kids filling a Yeti backpack the next morning so again not much the motel could do to avoid that.
This motel is family run and the owners do a great job of making it nice. There is a pool, picnic tables, community fire pit, yard games, bikes to use and even a community kitchen. It is right down the road from the beach so location is great. We had an upstairs room with two beds with a door that closed to the seating area. There was a private balcony with rockers. Although the place was older it felt clean and taken care of. Check-in was very easy and friendly. Kids were having fun riding bikes around the buildings. Perfect place for families to gather. We had a great meal at Styx!

United StatesWe had to haul everything up a very steep, narrow-stepped stair case that wrapped around the corner (so picture pie wedge shaped stairs at the corner). Reminded me a lot of an older hotel that I stayed at in Italy once. I had a knee injury and it made going up and down the stairs very difficult and there was not a rail on both sides. I had to grab the window sill as I rounded the corner, for stability since I could not completely bend one knee and there was not rail at the point for me to use at the wide part of the stairs. You may want to contact the hotel directly to make sure that you are on the ground floor if you need ground floor accommodations. The beds were pretty hard. If you have achy joints, not the most comfortable. The pillows, linens and everything else was very nice though.
Our room was the biggest available, according to the lady at check-in. We basically had an apartment with a hallway, a living room/bedroom that had a pullout sofa bed, a bedroom with two queen beds and a bathroom that had a separate toilet room from the shower. It was huge. It was exceptionally clean, considering it was in the upstairs of an older house (above the office) and older building are difficult to clean. The amenities were Bath & Body Works sample sized products and Wolfgang Puck coffee for the coffee maker. Individual air conditioner units for the two bedrooms. Plenty of towels. The staff let us check in 15 minutes early, which was very nice of her.

Nader's was exceptionally clean and very well taken care of. Checking in was a great experience as the woman who did it was kind and fast. We like at least 2-3 cups of coffee each morning and there was never a problem getting more when we asked for it. Also asked for another bar of soap and got two.
