Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Ice machine only worked on one level. Had issues with tv not working in room. Front desk employee was very rude and unprofessional when i asked for maintenance. Room keys had difficulty opening doors. Toilet in room made constant loud sound. Extremely difficult turning into hotel entrance due to high traffic area.
Great options for breakfast. Loved the hours. Great location. Room service daily. Hottub/ pool/ grill area. 24 hour security. Cleanliness.

Clean, close to beach and food, friendly staff. Breakfast was very good with a variety of food options. We loved it here and will definitely be staying again.

The lighting in the room was very dark, and it was difficult trying to figure out how to turn on the lights.
The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but I wish the Bacon was cooked longer.

The staff is really kind and helpful. Free parking. There is plenty of variety at breakfast. Close to i-5. Hot tub and swimming pool were fun.

The only issue that I had was in the bathroom, there were a couple of loose tiles and grout missing.
I liked the ease of access to the surrounding area including Camp Pendleton. Easy walk to the beach. Coffee accessible 24 hrs. Hot breakfast is also a bonus.

There were some very rowdy people at 3am. One night, they were happy drunks, and the next night, they were angry drunks.
We liked having breakfast included. The hottub and pool were nice also. We took advantage of having a fridge in the room by buying water, soda, and snacks so we didn't have to eat out for every meal.

Sink in bathroom wouldn’t drain. By the time water got hot, sink half full and took forever to drain.
Liked location. Room clean. Breakfast average.Had microwave and refrig which we like. Floor plan good. Staff polite and helpful.

The bed. The mattress was way too soft and not supportive of my back at all. The pillows were way too squishy. The mattress moved from one side to the other creating a ledge from the platform bed first on one side and then the other, depending on who got in the bed first. The drapes did not overlap or completely close, so the light from the parking lot showed through right onto the bed. The clock's blue light was so bright I had to turn it facedown on the night table so that light did not also shine in my face.
Breakfast was great. The staff all were very friendly and extremely helpful. The freeway was easily accessible from the hotel.

The staff were absolutely fantastic! When I come back to Oceanside. I will 100% being staying in this outstanding hotel. The breakfast was amazing and at such convenient times. Such a great location near many thing to do!

The only thing I could wish for was a hotel shuttle for late-day arrivals. Older family members who are not Lyft or Uber riders ran into difficulties getting there when public transportation had stopped running.
Breakfast was great, staff were absolutely wonderful, amazingly helpful and responsive and friendly! I met family who had traveled separately and had some difficulties getting to the hotel, and the staff member on desk duty was so kind in easing their arrival. We reported a broken coffee maker as a "when you have a chance, could you take a look" issue, and they had a staff member with a new pot there within two minutes, who not only figured out that the pot did still work, but shared a lot of laughs with us in-between. Staff members at breakfast were likewise kind and attentive. Thank you, Best Western!
