Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHow far the bathrooms were from my particular type of tent and isolate area; however, experienced campers may enjoy this.
I did like the overall property, very nice tents but I am inexperienced camper, it was a big learning experience for me.

United StatesThe paths were a little muddy after all that rain, which might be fully expected after all the rain, except paths appeared to need a fresh layer of woodchips so it was worse than it could have been. I've done a lot of camping and have stayed at many nice hotels, so the cost of glamping was a little more than I was expecting, but it was definitely an experience and something I will consider doing here again!
This is a really beautiful site for glamping and the hosts could not have been nicer! The tents and facilities were clean and really comfortable, and paths leading to tents were cleared of brush and high grasses. The coffee, fresh-baked scones and muffins, plus overnight oats, were a really delicious way to start each morning. It's always wonderful having someone else prepare that first meal of the day, especially when camping. We were there during a massive storm and felt safe and secure inside our tent (it leaked a little from the roof but the storm was HUGE and there was a massive rainfall!). Though we brought our own, having towels, shampoo, conditioner, bath wash and lotion available in each toilet/ shower room is a great idea for those who wish to pack a little lighter.

United StatesThe muffins were amazing, and everyone in there was welcoming and warm whenever we came in. The live music and campfire our first night was a great touch for camping out

United StatesThere weren't any matches for the heater but I also forgot to ask for them. The bathroom is a little walk away from the standard tents, so don't wait to the last minute.
The muffins are the best. Homemade and baked every morning. The breakfast isn't fancy but it is good and will get you going. If you are looking for more, go into town. I liked the ability to charge my phone in the tent with portable charger. The view from my tent was beautiful and it was nice to sleep in nature without sleeping on the ground. The bed was also very nice.

United Statesrestrooms were a bit of a walk from our tent. for the nightly price I think it would be nice to have breakfast dropped off at the tent in a nice basket. the food was great!! maybe a bottle of wine in the tent on arrival. those are just extras.
the tents were nicely spaced. bathrooms were clean nicely done. maybe a bit far from some of the tents. the pathways were well lit. the bed was great. the breakfast was excellent.

United StatesGreeted by a large metal trash container in the dark. Very poor lighting, poor signage. The ‘wagon’ they provide to haul your luggage/ coolers/ chairs etc are the tiniest cheapest pull carts I’ve ever seen! It was a running joke the entire stay. Our power pack had several outlets that didn’t work, one side of the bed had no power. Large mouse hole in the screen had not been repaired. Several cubes of mouse poison inside of the tent - BEWARE if you have children. Absolutely no warning or information about this. Dozens of snails on the walkway in front of our tent made walking extremely difficult in the pitch dark. There was no coffee at breakfast and no homemade scones as promised. If strawberry and peach Quaker Oatmeal packs are your thing or Yoplait yogurt you’ll do fine. We found the breakfast very sugary and poor quality. Also on day one we returned from Lake Michigan eager to shower and get to Saugatuck for dinner but there were no towels. No staff in sight. I had to go knock on doors hoping to find someone. A woman appeared with a pile of unfolded towels lying on the floor behind her. I formed her there were no towels and without apology she returned with a stack and told me to ‘take one’. I took two, because the floors in the shower rooms were consistently filthy wet with hair and debris it required its own towel. The towels smelled like mothballs, really toxic odor. The woman said they were understaffed, but I did not feel I needed to accept her excuse. She gladly took my $500 for two nights of camping and couldn’t provide coffee or towels. Boo. I will never return. My 16yo son hated it and we sang a happy tune when we left! This is a one person operation so all the OffMap ‘family’ and ‘team’ business is nonsense. Try UnderCanvas, they’re the real deal and offer a quality experience.
The nature was lovely.
