The bathroom was in need of an upgrade. Rust around the base of the bathtub.There appeared to be patchwork repairs to the ceiling in the bathroom and the sitting room. A good section of the ceiling in the sitting room had been patched up. Not a very professional paint job. The painters were not very detailed oriented, when they painted the bathroom door frame they also painted over the metal hinges of the the door and frame. We stayed at another Comfort Inn in Scranton and the accommodations were far better than this one, they appeared cleaner and better maintained.

Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful. location was convenient to the Hisrtoric District.

We could not get the a/c unit to go lower than 74°. The light switch on the wall next to the door did not work hard to fine our way to another light.

Large room, clean and comfortable bed for the most part. Issues with pillows. I know why you use the standard pillows. Just feel that you get a king-size bed. You should get king-size pillows, not standard size pillows. You rolled over and rolled off the pillow into the crack of a pillow.

the rooms are quit and cozy . it has a homey feel to it i travel alone 3 hours from my home every two weeks with my 6 year old for doctor appointments and we love staying here . we feel safe at all times we stay here often and will continue to .

Only thing that I can complain about is that I arrived before they filled up the eggs and my eggs were dry, otherwise a great stay.

We asked for linen and were told that the sofa bed was not accessible and had a lock on it. We did not find a lock on it, and it did let out. The male (Indian) desk attendee was more smirkful than helpful. We explained that the sofa let out but the sofa was soiled and there was mold around the edges. I took a cover sheet off the bed to cover the soiled sofa because we needed use of it. My friend ended up sitting on it for a while; then slept on it. The bathroom had corners that were dirty and there were not enough towels and wash clothes. When asked to get more, we were told we could come to the front desk and get them. We did not move.

The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.

Airconditiining blows directly into the head part of the bed. I don’t see a solution for that except for the guest to turn off the a/c if it is bothersome.
