The pool, proximity to the beach

The decor was beautiful and updated. The location was great not right in the middle of a ton of people but easy walk to to all the restaurants and shopping.

Expensive but then so is Hawaii in general. I would say it was worth it but as a very special vacation.

Loved every second. It was clean and well organized. The view was amazing, and the staff were patient, helpful, and kind. It was close to all the pick-up places for the excursions I went on and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shops. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable.

The room we stayed in had 3 double beds, no sofa to watch tv, no microwave to heat up leftovers/meals for young children, no outdoor patio, pool closes at 8pm, no pool slides, one spa was broken the whole week we stayed. They were doing construction during our stay and drilling started by 9am every morning.

We liked the location of the property: the proximity to the beach and shopping/ dining, valet and cleaning staff were very nice and friendly. Beds made everyday during our stay.

Cars couldn’t be parked unless you used a valet so after paying $50 a night to park you still have the tip for the valet every time you want to go somewhere.

The ocean was literally right out the back door. It was exceptionally clean out has some form of entertainment downstairs every night.

It lacked information about the facilities which it offered . Not enough information about the restaurants in its locations. It would have been nice to have basic information such as operating hours, menus offered, etc

Would have been great to have a shuttle available from the airport to the hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful, location was great, beachfront, walking distance to shops and restaurants and all the area had to offer. The Outrigger Reef offered a beautiful complementary group wedding vow renewal ceremony that was a highlight of our trip and just a delight. Great family friendly experience all around.

Had to ask for black tea. There was one pod of green tea and as usual in the US lots of coffee.

Lovely ocean view room with balcony. Easy access to the local beach but not to the main Waikiki beach. We had access to Club lounge for breakfast, evening drinks and a light meal. Spacious, great bed, walk in shower, excellent housekeeping service, aircon was quiet.

Pool is always in the shadows of buildings so you don’t get much sun and it gets chilly.

The restaurant Monkeypod needs to review their staffing. I do see it’s popular with the tourist but traveling with family they do not have a lot of options for food but then again if you are looking for some Hawaiian food this isn’t the place to eat.

Pool area was shaded most of the day being between two hotels. Be much netter if along the beach front instead of where it’s positioned now

Only pet peeve was the pool. It was kind of useless to us. Let me explain. Partner recently had surgery so couldn't submerge to much and pool started at I think 4 or 5 feet... this wasn't the issue, the issue was kids... There's no life guard or anyone watching, its was non stop kids in bulk running, jumping, bombing, in groups non stop. Non of there parents cared, but no matter where you moved to in the pool they came from every angle. Freaking annoying, so we only used the pool once for maybe 30 mins as it was pointless.

Room was incredible ! We wish we could have stayed longer having ocean front it was amazing and also super relaxing, specially at night. Super big, spacious, and different and views !!!!! Was sick to walk anywhere from the hotel and or go on adventures and tours. Abc store was super handy.
