Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesAll staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to check to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel, restaurants, and pool were wonderful. We did not spend much time on the beach.

Absolutely beautiful, luxurious hotel. Amazing service. Great location, right on the beach, and close to shopping and restaurants. The free vow renewal on the beach was just wonderful.

United StatesThere isn't much of a beach. If you want to swim in a nicer area of Waikiki, you have to walk down Kalakaua Avenue to get there.
The staff is amazing here. They truly embody the "Aloha Spirit" of Hawaii. The breakfast and happy hour appetizer buffets are well worth the price.

United StatesThe beach section is very narrow (the site's photos are deceiving) and at high tide, the beach is non-existent. Also, the beach is rocky due to the reef. Water shoes or a float are a must if you want to be in the water. The resort is within walking distance of Outrigger Waikiki Beach resort, and we would walk to the other resort to spend time at the beach.
I liked that the resort was at the edge of the "hustle & bustle" of the tourist section. Close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants, but not in in the midst of traffic and noise.

United StatesThe breakfast is a farce, it's delivered at a Vendor's restaurant (Monkeypod) on site and requires vouchers and its apparent and obvious that it is a hassle for Outrigger and Monkeypod. Check-in staff didn't provide them and didn't explain. Then after going for breakfast, Check-in were unhelpful. Booking does not include breakfast for any kids so you will pay extra for this. There is also a check in process for breakfast.
Amazing hotel and location, right on the beach and easy to access Waikiki and local extensive shopping areas as well roads to get out and explore or visit around Island. Oceanview room was excellent, in great condition and exactly as promised.

United KingdomThe pool is uninviting and seamed somewhat cloudy when looking at it from our room. There’s no beach to speak of, however there is a public beach to the side of the property where sun beds can be rented. The Voyager lounge has a problem with Pigeons hunting constantly for scraps of wasted food left by ppl, this could be sorted using a Hawk service.
We were due to stay twice at this hotel during our trip, however we were bounced to a sister hotel (outrigger beach) at the last minute. However, after discussing our disappointment with Denis, we were upgraded to a very nice dual aspect room with great sea views. Location was good, close to the main strip and next to a small park. Hotel decor was modern light and airy, staff were helpful and friendly. The Voyager lounge at this property was nicer than the one at Outrigger Beach in our opinion, with a wider selection of food and larger outdoor space. The sunsets were great too and opening at 6:30am was really useful. The Monkeypod restaurant menu was extensive and food quality / presentation was very good. Unlike Outrigger beach, there is no App based booking system here, so it’s a first come first serve basis for a 7am breakfast sitting. The gym had a great layout and was open 24/7 with top quality equipment including a number of Peleton bikes, excellent running machines and a separate studio for yoga/ workouts.

United StatesThe pool is fine, and we enjoyed using the hot tube. However, there's a little mini-SPA pool that was never available for use (we stayed 10 days), this is something they can work on. The rooms are not soundproof, and you can definitely hear people walking/talking in the aisle, as well as doors opening and closing (these doors' noise is strong). While it did not bother us at all, it could be problematic if you light sleep.
We loved staying this hotel. The location is PERFECT, right in the middle of Waikiki and walking distance to the most touristic places. The staff inside the hotel is great and they helped us in every way they could. The restaurants inside the hotels are delicious and there's even a little ABC store inside.

AustraliaWe booked an ocean view room and it was a side on view which was unexpected for the price. Would have been good to have a range of eateries. The grille and monkeypod were good but sometimes a sandwich and a decent coffee was all that was needed.
Great pool and so close to the beach. Super close to other hotels and restaurants and 2 min walk kalakauau ave.
